House vacation rentals in Valle del Baztan

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this home. Perfect for groups or families and the house had everything you could want to make you feel at home. The location is perfect if you plan to visit multiple French and Spanish cites. Very great location close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely like to come again!

We just spent 10 wonderful nights here. What can I say apart from it was perfect. Yves and Scarlett are great hosts. They are on hand if you need them but very discreet the rest of the time. The barn is very well equipped and has everything needed to self cater. The grounds are amazing and kept in fantastic condition - we regularly used the pool and hot tub. There are 4 resident donkeys, a small dog and a cat. All are lovely - the donkeys are a pleasure to watch. We went out to a town called Salies de Bearn and would highly recommend it for nice scenery, cafes, bars and restaurants. There are supermarkets and bakeries in nearby towns. The hosts are great at making recommendations. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we will definitely be back ☺️

We had a lovely week here. Although the accommodation is attached to the house it was very private and quiet. The view is beautiful with only a couple of far away houses amongst a sea of trees and green. Shops and restaurants are only a short drive away. The pool and outside space is wonderful. We would highly recommend it.

What a wonderful experience. We loved the house, everything was as advertised and more. Great space , very well equipped and immaculately clean. One of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in. Miren was an excellent host, so helpful and left some fresh eggs and local jam for us to try. She even organised a new hob for the cooker as it was damaged. Wonderful service. Of course the surrounding countryside is the big attraction. Just beautiful. Highly recommended. We will definitely return

Extremely well located accommodation 2 steps from the beach, a few beachfront bars nearby. Center easily accessible by car. The accommodation is very clean, functional and quiet (despite the proximity to the campsite). Small downside with unsecured staircase (accommodation on the first floor) and 2 windows in the bedroom without shutters that required a little adaptation with a walking baby. Very good communication with Paul. We'll be happy to go back.

The accommodation at Odile's is ideally placed to discover the Basque Country in a few days. In addition, it is comfortable, peaceful, with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Odile was very welcoming and discreet at the same time. I would highly recommend it!

What a joy to find yourself in a cottage located in the heart of the Baïgorry Valley. Josette and her husband hosted us wonderfully and let us enjoy their wonderful home. We had a dream weekend, the area is beautiful and the cottage is very convenient and has incredible outdoor views of the valley. Recommended without hesitation, highly recommended for a future weekend in the Basque country!

A real bubble of calm at the top of the mountains! We had a great time at Etienne's, the accommodation was impeccable when we arrived, the view is beautiful and it's not the noise of cars that will wake you up in the morning… Etienne has some great tips on nearby hikes. We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great week in Espelette. Great house with air conditioning, Washing machine and terrace with plenty of space. Centrally located for excursions and walks. Very nice communication with the landlords. Thank you for having us as guests!

Idyllic... Everything is perfectly consistent with the descriptions given and the photos provided, even more (a bonus for the pot of foie gras provided on arrival!) The place is perfect for relaxing, quiet, the garden is beautiful and well-maintained, the pool is great, as is the spa, the terrace, etc. The city of Dax is a stone's throw away, shops in the immediate vicinity... Really, that's perfect! Not to mention Vincent, of course, a particularly friendly, accommodating, very responsive host to provide info before departure, welcoming on arrival, and available in case of questions... One of my best experiences via Airbnb, great! Thank you, Vincent, and see you in a few months!

Marie-Anne's house is superb, very well decorated and equipped. The environment is idyllic, very quiet and yet close to the axes allowing to radiate throughout the region which is superb (sea, countryside, mountain). Marie-Anne is a very warm and welcoming host, she and her husband have good advice on restaurants and activities. We will be happy to go back and recommend their home.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Central to the coast, the mountains, lots of walks and villages with good food and interesting history. Very nicely furnished and everything we needed. It is always a good sign when the kitchen knives are nice and sharp! We really appreciated Jackie’s help .

Sophie was waiting for us, welcomed us warmly with delicious Basque cake and explanations about the house and some cultural facts about the Basque language, about restaurants, markets and sights. Our home is an ideal place for those who love peace and nature and like to walk. Also, places such as the Rhune, Bayonne, Biarritz, even San Sebastián are all easily accessible by car and, if desired, partly by public transportation. The house is very quietly located at the end of a side road where no traffic passes by; it is located at a height so you have beautiful views of the mountains and the valley. Comfort as described on the site is present.
