Townhome vacation rentals in Vaca Key

We are glad we stayed here and would definitely stay again. The house was spacious, clean, and in good shape. Our kids loved the twin beds and they also loved the pool which was clean and warm. The outdoor seating areas were a nice touch, and the house was well appointed. I was a little disappointed to learn I could not use the dock in front of the place (due to maintenance), but the marina staff was very friendly and made the courtesy dock available to us for the boat we rented nearby. Would definitely recommend for small families.

Wonderful place to stay with a great location. Very private community with a heated pool and a great view of the Gulf side of the island. Sit at the pool and enjoy watching the kids fish at the dock.

Claire had an emergency which caused her to forget to contact house cleaning but she was awesome to work with and went over and above to make it right when we told her of the problem. You won’t find a more beautiful private place to stay. Location is as good as it gets. Claire was a great host and we really appreciated it.

Wonderful place to stay and great location for multiple key adventures throughout your stay. My family and I enjoyed the stay. We will definitely stay with little torch cottages again!

We had a nice stay at the condo. The place was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. There are 3 levels and another outdoor staircase to get up on to the rooftop area. The outdoor patio was nice to sit on in the morning and evening. The grounds and the pools at the resort were great. We spent most of the days outside. The condo is located in a busy area and close to restaurants and grocery stores. There are some basic supplies like small shampoo bottles and some spices for cooking but you will need to bring or buy your own. There are plenty of dishes and cookware between the 2 kitchens but no plastic cups to take outside.

we found this house to be an amazing location and very comfortable. host was readily available whenever we contacted her. maintenance guy is super nice and super cool and so very accommodating. would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Islamorada.

Jack and Susan are wonderful hosts! Their home is beautiful. It felt like home and the small, private beach area was so peaceful. Susan gave great recommendations on places to eat and things to do and was always responsive to all questions I had. Would definitely stay again!

Our group of 8 stayed Feb 2025. The home is nicely decorated, clean, and Jose supplied a starter set of toiletries for the shower, hand soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher pods, some coffee pods, and spices for cooking. They supplied large beach towels for the pool, a small cooler, and noodles. The oasis pool and hot tub were awesome. Don’t miss the second pool by the marina that is heated and a hot tub grotto which was perfect in the evenings. 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, you just can’t beat it! This townhome is located near many restaurants and fun places for activities. You enter the home from the first floor but second floor is the main living area with full kitchen, living room, and nice balcony. Two bedrooms are on the third floor so lots of stairs but worth the trip. First floor has a private king bedroom with a pull out couch in the living area and a small kitchen. Laundry room is in a storage area outside next to the front door. We loved our stay and Jose!

These villas are a wonderful place to stay. Very peaceful and quiet. Felt very safe.

We had a wonderful time and were so pleased with the accommodations. Ava kept us posted with any information we needed and always asked if there was anything we needed from her. We will definitely come back!

Our stay was great for a family of 5. Vaulted ceilings, CLEAN bathrooms, nice tile, fixtures, plush towels and bath rugs, lots of pool towels, large couch, huge dining table, immaculate stocked kitchen, ice and water dispensers in fridge, short walk to a heated pool, deep canal steps away (under construction) and next to a full service marina. Parking easy, check in seamless. Great for kids lots of space to spread out, multiple porches, quiet, central location. Brian was easy to work with. Could improve: Master bath barn door (not shown in listing) did not open/close easily. The toilet is awkwardly close to the bed (you can reach the bed from the toilet). Also, if you can get the barn door shut, the gaps btwn the door are so big it doesn’t offer any privacy. We used the other 2 toilets in the house instead of the one in the master. A regular door there would be a big improvement. Beds were average, sheets were low quality, window blinds, pots and pans have seen better days.

Great place and location. Close to lots of restaurants. Pool was really nice! Kitchen was fully stocked and nice that they provide paper towels/toilet paper/dishwasher detergent/etc. to get you started. Had a nice bottle of champagne waiting for us upon arrival as well.

Lovely duplex in a quiet location. Photos of the backyard should be updated to show the new house that was built there. Very nicely equipped with nice grill and kitchen had everything we needed. Clean unit that has been updated. Stove/oven is probably the only weak spot in the appliances. One bedroom has an exterior door without blinds or shades on it. Unfortunately the sun shone directly on the bed as soon as it came up in the morning which made sleep difficult after 530AM. Hopefully that gets addressed. Cabana Beach Club was not out cup of tea. Over bearing staff and tiny place. Went there the first day and avoided it after that. Sombero beach was fabulous and is a short drive away. Sunset beach was small but also very nice and is just over a 10 minute walk away. Bahai Honda State Park was also great and is under 30 minutes drive. We really enjoyed this location in the Keys since it is central to everything without being as far out as Key West.

What a lovely place! The pictures don’t do this home justice. My family and I had a wonderful time in Marathon. The pool proximity to the house is top notch. Such a relaxing, family friendly environment. We enjoyed walking around the adjacent marina and admiring the boats. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We love Keys! This place is kinda in the middle of everything, with Key West 90 minutes or so away. The residence is very clean, and the plunge pool (and floaties!) was appreciated by the kids. A great place!

Samantha was a great hostess. She immediately responded when we had a minor problem. The place was clean and comfortable and close to numerous amenities.

We just returned from a week at the Keys Ocean vacation rental! The place was exactly like the photos and in such a beautiful place overlooking the marina. The condo had all that we needed and more with all the amenities that you could need (beach chairs, kayak, SUP board, tennis rackets, etc.) as well as bathroom amenities so all you need to do is pack your clothes and go! It's a short walk to the Coco Plum Beach and a short drive to the Sombrero Beach which is slightly bigger. There's great walking and running paths as well. You can also walk to a fish market for stone crabs as well as a deli and market. We also like to fish so being on the dock was great for the kids and also went on the local party boat one day which is only 5 mins away. The condo was spotless and just perfect for our family of 4! We will be back!

This house was so comfortable and accommodating! The weather was bad the first 4 days of our trip and it was so nice to have the game room to keep us entertained! Everything you need and more!

Loved the place and the super host! It’s a great location. The only thing I didn’t not like is that the association gives you a really hard time if you want to invite friends for dinner. But this has nothing to do with Jacqueline as she is not the one imposing the rules.

Allison's place in Duck Key was perfect. exactly as advertised, clean and well-equipped. it is so peaceful there, with a great view from which tk enjoy morning coffee and/or afternoon glass of wine. proxikity to amenities is just right. would definitely return.

Very cute spot. Worked well for our family of 5. Close to Marathon restaurants, grocery stores etc. My kids loved fishing in the canals.

Lissete was a fantastic host from sending a welcome message the day of arrival to allowing for a late checkout. Her recommendations for meals were spot on, top recommendations include the Fish House (you pay for the superb quality of fresh fish) and Harriette’s (delicious comfort food with large portions and excellent service). We loved the pool at the Mariners club, perfect location for a relaxing weekend.

Wonderful place to stay. Centrally located in the keys so easy travel to all the keys.
