Enjoy peace and space in a stylish converted garage in Bosch en Duin

Welcome to Bosch en Duin in our former garage/barn, which was converted into a very luxurious and stylish home on September 1, 2016. Ideal for 2 people, but also suitable for a family with 2 children or 4 friends. The home is fully insulated and heated by underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Through a window as large as the garage doors and on the other side windows up to the ridge and 3 large skylights, it is a delightful bright space with stunning views of garden and forest totaling 2800m. The Garage consists of one large room with a wooden unit in the middle. On one side of the unit there is a beautiful, complete kitchen with 4 burners/combi oven, dishwasher and fridge-freezer integrated in a hard stone countertop. On the other side is a small but tasteful shower (thermostat tap), toilet and sink with automatic tap and illuminated anti-condensation mirror. The unit offers spacious cupboards and drawers and a staircase upstairs. The unit has a double bed of 1.60 x 2.00m with a lovely sheep wool duvet of 2.00 x 2.00 m. For lodgers who are afraid of heights, there is a spacious and comfortable sofa in the sitting room that turns into a double bed of 1.40 x 2.00 m in one motion. Next to this spacious corner sofa there is another comfy chair to slide comfortably close to the stove. In the dining area there is a spacious wooden table with 4 chairs. The drawings and ceramics images by our son, outsider artist Hannes, give the space a very personal and cheerful appearance. The home has its own private, private and wonderfully sheltered terrace with comfortable garden chairs with pillows. In the forest there is a bench to enjoy nature in peace or to read a book. Finally, there is a hammock for a delicious afternoon nap. The house has WiFi, with which you can watch the available iPad TV via our Ziggo connection, also radio. So there is no flat screen TV. We have a dog of our own, but we don't want a dog in De Garage. Guests can use the entire house, but also the terrace, the forest and the driveway to park their car. We will be there when guests arrive and depart. We tell the guests about our house, the equipment and the area. The house is non-smoking. We do not provide breakfast or other meals. Combine nature and culture in "De Garage," on the estate Ter Wege in Bosch en Duin, surrounded by the woods of the Utrecht Heuvelrug and a short distance from Utrecht and Amersfoort with their many museums, restaurants and other entertainment options. Guests can use our bikes. A bus stop is about a 10-minute walk away. Own transportation is of course always easier and faster. Guests can always reach us by phone for questions.

Lovely holiday home in the woods with a sauna

Completely unwind and enjoy each other and the beautiful surroundings of this wooden eco vacation home with outdoor sauna. You walk into the woods and with the 2 included Sparta e-bikes you cycle to beautiful places such as the Henschotermeer and the Soesterduinen. Staying at home is also a party: the sauna, bathroom with double shower heads, barbecue, pictures running on the record player and large garden with two terraces, one of which is covered and heated. The house is energy-neutral using 18 solar panels.

Come here to unwind, bike, have a stroll, On request, you can used some of our bikes as it is only a 20 minutes bicycle ride tot the beautiful historic city of Amersfoort. Wees welkom in een een klein rustig dorpje in de Betuwe. Vanuit uw kamer heeft u uitzicht op de dijk. Aan de andere kant van de dijk zijn uitgestrekte uiterwaarden, daarachter ligt de rivier de Nederrijn. B&B Bij Bokkie ligt direct aan de lange-afstand-wandelpaden zoals het Maarten van Rossumpad en het Limespad, maar ook langs verschillende fietsroutes. Gesitueerd in het midden van het land vlakbij sfeervolle stadjes als Wijk bij Duurstede en Buren. Geniet hier van bloesem en heerlijk fruit.

Our house is a 5-minute walk away from Ede-Wageningen Central Station and a 5-minute drive from the highways. 2.5 km walk to the center of Ede and in 20 minutes by train in Utrecht and in 50 minutes in Amsterdam. Your private entrance, room with A/C (2024) and bathroom. In the middle of the Veluwe. By bike on the heath in 15 minutes and 5 minutes walk to the forest. So a wonderful base! Charging the electric car is also one of the possibilities.

A modern apartment with a very nice living room with kitchen. Well equipped. The neighbourhood is calm and you can reach downtown Utrecht and its railway station easily by car or by bus. This apartment is normally inhabited by the hosts so the place has much more charm and quality than the usual apartments that are commercially rented out where everything is IKEA and without much character. The hosts are very nice people that explained everything well. They also generously gave us some fruits and prosecco and we they offered us to use food in the fridge and kitchen.

We lived in the apartment during our stay in Utrecht almost 6 weeks. The apartment suits well for longer stay in beautiful Utrecht. The apartment is cozy and corresponds to the description given in the Airbnb pages. Apartment is close enough to the city center(~2km): You can go by bike, have a 20minutes walk or use the bus (those go with frequent schedule, are not very crowded and the payment system is comfortable for European standard with credit card). In addition, there are safe free parking slots for car in the quiet streets just next to the apartment and charging places for electric engines. Communication with Jessie was easy and she is excellent host responding quickly to questions and provides useful tips on service nearby (e.g., restaurants, shops, etc.).

The place is great - actually even bigger than it looks in the photos. Great equipped kitchen with plenty of space for cooking and spending time together. We got along super well with 8 people. No problem with children either. There is a small garden and trampoline. The house is lovingly and comfortably furnished. A supermarket and a few restaurants are within walking distance. The city is easily reached by bus around the corner. Marlies gave us great recommendations for the area. Communication was very nice and proactive overall. Highly recommend 👍🏻

Our stay at Joan's boat was really, really nice. Located in and overlooking the water, with birds flying and swimming around us. A nice seating area that receives the sunlight in the late afternoon and seating in the front for morning sun. Tastefully decorated, well equipped. Everything you'd wish for!

We had a great time at Ylvie's place. The cabin was comfortable, the surroundings were beautiful and most of all Ylvie was very helpful. My son had a lot of fun running around the property, playing with all the animals (especially the dogs). It's a great place to spend quiet time with family and also really easy to get to the main attractions of Netherland. I would definitely visit again 😀
