Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Utila

I actually ended up cancelling my stay at the last minute because we had some friends drop out and this was the second house for a group (and was no longer needed). Alisha was super sweet about it and told me she would try to rebook it to someone else in order to refund my money.

Second time staying here and won’t be the last one. The place is perfect for pets, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful.

Incredible and unique experience! Communications from Ozzie, Herman and Daphney were great. For a bit extra, Herman picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry dock in Utila in his dorry (small motor boat). He also included a trip the next day to Water Cay, which is important, as there are no beaches on Utila Cay. Herman and his family are among the friendliest people you'll ever meet! Lovely house, too! Important things to know: This house is not on Utila, but on Utila Cay, a 15 minute boat ride away. You'll need some way to get there—we used Herman's services. He can also bring you from La Ceiba, weather permitting, if you opt for that option. The house is likely the only lodging on the island, but the rest of the island is totally covered with houses. The islanders are lovely people and an interesting culture of their own, incredibly honest and friendly. The place is very safe. Utila Cay has several little stores, all just a short walk, and Herman has a restaurant.

A really nice space, private and gated courtyard felt very safe as a solo travelling female. Nice location, around a 25min walk to UDC (partly uphill on the way back) but 100% walkable I did it nearly every day for 3 months. If walking at night would recommend keeping a torch, for both the road and the path to the apartment, on you as there are occasionally leaf cutting ants on the path minding their own business the lighting is okay but could be brighter. Really quiet location ( jungle party once a month can be loud) compared to other places on the island.

The best review I can give is that I would definitely stay here again (and hope to!). The Anchor Inn "compound" is like a small collection of casitas with a private pool and friendly folks all around, but also quiet and private - a welcome reprieve from the business and noise of the main drag in Utila. It is a 10-15 minute walk to town and other popular spots/dive shops so be aware that you may want to rent wheels of some kind if you're staying here and not a big walker. The pool was clean and refreshing and Kandi, the manager, made my stay a pleasure. Plus the Circle K is just nearby for quick errands. Highly recommend!

Nuestra estadía en esta casa en Utila fue excelente. Éramos seis personas y el espacio fue perfecto para todos. La casa tiene tres habitaciones, la casa cuenta con aire acondicionado, lo cual fue un gran plus por el clima. La cocina estaba súper bien equipada, con todo lo necesario: ollas, cucharas, incluso condimentos, lo que hizo todo más fácil. La casa en persona es aún más bonita que en las fotos. Me encantó el área de la piscina, que es compartida con otras casas del lugar. Aunque no vimos a muchos vecinos, los pocos que conocimos fueron muy amables y tranquilos. Tuvimos un pequeño inconveniente con un foco que no funcionaba al llegar, pero el dueño vino rápidamente a solucionarlo. También, en algunas ocasiones se fue el agua cuando nos bañábamos, pero entiendo que en Utila eso puede pasar, igual que con la luz. A pesar de eso, todo me pareció muy lindo y definitivamente volvería.

Josh has basic accommodations but they are clean, walking distance to the ferry, restaurants and shops. It is a diver's haven so if you're into SCUBA, this is the place! Josh is a very nice man and made us feel completely welcome. Be aware Main Street, Utilia is a very busy place.

This place was really nice, in the quiet part of the island perfect to rest after a day of diving and a night out.

Second stay at Anke’s with no issues. My children were delighted again by the different options to entertain themselves even without supervision. Locals are friendly and helpful to provide you information about the local settings. Anke and her son Andrés are always available to assist. Nice, quiet and beautiful. Looking forward to come back again next year. Highly recommended.

Pasamos dos noches increíbles en este Airbnb en Utila con un amigo y nuestras novias. El lugar superó nuestras expectativas, limpio, cómodo, moderno y con una vibra caribeña perfecta. Todo estaba en orden, tal como en las fotos. Excelente ubicación para relajarse y explorar la isla. Jakob fue muy atento. Ideal para disfrutar en pareja o con amigos. ¡Definitivamente volveríamos! Roland was extremely responsive and helpful during my entire stay. The location is great and right on the lagoon. It's very walkable to much of Main Street, though it's nice to have a bike to get over to Coral View area. And if you plan to dive at UDC, you couldn't ask for a better location. AC worked great, kitchen was small but worked great for small meals. Bed was very comfortable.

exelente lugar lo recomiendo totalmente muy limpio y muy completo con su baño cocina y dormitorio, a unos pasos de la calle principal restaurante y playas muy sercas volveremos sin duda.
