The cottage was built in the 1940s and, although it has been continuously renovated to keep up with modern standards, it retains a cosy old world charm with an open fire and original windows. Stugan är ca 22 m2 och har ett helkaklat badrum med dusch, ett enkelt pentry med kylskåp, frysfack, mikrovågsugn, plattor och vattenkokare och köksbord. Det finns två sängar samt en bäddsoffa med soffbord. Goda kommunikationer med buss eller bil till Uppsala (20 min) och Arlanda (35 min). Endast 75 km till Stockholm.

Båtsmanstorp i lantligt Roslagen. Närhet till djur och natur. Varsamt renoverat torp med vedspis och öppen spis. Lummig, avskild och stor trädgård med många kultursorter av växter. Närmaste sjö är Erken där det finns flera olika badplatser och natursköna områden. Vid torpet finns vedeldad bastu. Det finns bra busskommunikation till exempelvis Stockholm eller Grisslehamn för dagsutflykter. Norrtälje stad är också ett trevligt utflyktsmål.
