Monthly Rentals in Upper Harbledown

The Little Pilgrims Retreat was fantastic. So local to the Main Street of Canterbury. A welcome book detailed everything about the property, local recommendations and contact details. With a great extra detail of local leaflets of things to do. What you see in the pictures is absolutely what you get- a beautiful property that is so well thought out and beautifully decorated. My only note is we found it tricky to balance the hot tap of the bath to ensure that we didn’t overwork the boiler. Make sure to only turn the hot tap a little! But this was explained in the instructions before arrival. Hosts were more than friendly and forthcoming over messages. They have thought out everything!

Paul and Anita were delightful hosts. Helpful and friendly, but not intrusive. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Peaceful and detached. Thank you very much for all the welcome treats! Very thoughtful and lovely. We certainly overpacked for our stay! Beautiful surroundings, and located well for us for going to Canterbury, the White cliffs of Dover, and Whitstable. The pub, which is a 2-minute walk down the road, is very pleasant as well. Lots of walks right from the doorstep, and recommended running routes which was great for my husband who is a runner. Loved waking up to the sounds of the ducks outside, and you can see beautiful stables from the back. The pictures don't quite do the accommodation justice. We shall definitely return!

Mary was a fantastic host! The accommodation was spotless with all the amenities you need. It was super snug and a great location for my dog with the fenced in garden. On arrival Mary was extremely helpful showing me around the accommodation and giving directions to different areas I wanted to visit. Thank you for a great stay 😊
