Mary was an amazing host! Our trip to Paje got pushed due to some flight issues, but Mary was so accommodating to our needs and made us feel at home during our stay. The property itself is beautiful and just steps to the beach! I highly recommend to anyone visiting Paje!

We have such a wonderful time here. We felt right at home - so much that we decided to extend our stay. The house is located just meters away from the beach. This whole neighborhood is family or friends, and it’s obvious they all genuinely care about the visitors to their community. Everyone you encounter here is very friendly and polite. You can walk around any hour of the day without any issues here. Opposite the house there is a small restaurant called Panyopa which has amazing food. Another recommendation is to use Hassan’s driver. The fare he charges is fair with local standards and he was extremely helpful, helping us picking up fruit and groceries on our way to the Airbnb. This place is more than recommended from me. The good ratings are legit and I can’t see anyone being disappointed staying here. A true paradise.

We had a fantastic stay! Jos was incredibly communicative and helpful throughout, making sure everything went smoothly. The on-site staff were also wonderful—always friendly and ready to assist with anything we needed. A special highlight was the adorable dog on the property, who made our stay even more enjoyable! Overall, a great experience, and we would definitely book again!

A perfect place to stay in Zanzibar. The location is superb with a beautiful sandy beach at the foot of the lodge, a very nice environment with much less hotel residences than in Paje and a beautiful private space with comfortable deckchairs facing the ocean. The rooms are very good, cleaned every day, the staff is very friendly and very available, the lunches are excellent and very hearty and

Spent a few days in Paje after hiking Kilimanjaro. Short walk to the beach, hosts live on site and were easily reachable. Restaurant below run by hosts had very good food. Located on main road with restaurants and shops very close. Room was clean, comfortable, AC worked great, mini fridge in room to store cold drinks, snacks. Access to shared kitchen and was able to wash laundry. A very relaxing, enjoyable stay! Great value, felt safe as a solo female traveler.

I was there with my wife, and my wife and I immediately fell in-live with the place. if you are looking for a serene setting this is for you. They furnishing of the rooms is well thought out, creating a welcoming stay. I will definitely come back to this place.
