Great apartment to share with a friend! 2 separate bedrooms - 1 with AC and 1 with a big fan above the bed - and an amazing pool and lounge area. Be prepared to deal with power outage but thats something that happens everywhere. Host was very happy to point us in the right direction for anything we needed

We are a family of 5 and spent a week here and loved it! It worked perfectly for our family (teenage) with the three bedrooms, and general space - It is an oasis in the shade and just a short walk to the beach. We spent a lot of time at New Teddies too to use the pool and loungers etc, which is gorgeous and really close. Alida was so helpful and friendly and always at there for messaging. We did tours with Iddi (driver) who also collected us from Stone Town. He was really helpful, on time, and really reasonably priced. I would say book with him rather than on the beach! It wouldn’t be for everyone though - you should be aware it is set back in a very basic Zanzibar village. It is HOT! Mostly the house feels really cool and is wonderful to get back to, though the bedrooms are hot at night. There are fans but unfortunately Zanzibar is having an electricity crisis at the moment and there are several power cuts each day. This was probably worse than normal as it was peak season.

The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for a peaceful getaway. Whether it’s enjoying the serene surroundings, exploring the local area, or simply relaxing, Fumba is a great escape from the busier parts of Zanzibar. What keeps me coming back is not just the beautiful setting but also Saidi’s genuine kindness and attention to detail. He goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. Very nice place in a prime location right at the beach. Amenities and cleanliness are very good. The terrace, which is just a jump from the Indian Ocean at high tide, is unique. We have not seen any other accommodation in Jambiani that provides such private access to the sea. At low tide, you can still lie down in the existing hot tub😎 There was a power outage twice in the ten days we were on site, but this was promptly picked up by a generator set. Hakuna matata! What made our stay that bit special was Barau, the local manager. He lives in the neighborhood, is always available and a very helpful, friendly and accommodating person. He cares very well for his guests and reliably helps to organize all kinds of tours, whether on land or water. In addition, Barau and his wife Zuhura offer very good authentic food at absolutely affordable prices. So definitely try it!

If you’re looking for a private beach with white sand and security, this villa is ideal for you. I travel frequently and often book Airbnbs, but this villa truly stands out as the best. It’s incredibly beautiful. The guards, the host, and the staff have all been exceptional. It has exceeded my initial expectations. Calister and her team have been incredibly helpful with everything. The attention to detail and the level of service here make it a remarkable experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious getaway. I’m definitely re booking once I visit Zanzibar again.

This beautiful apartment is brand new. Immaculate and very comfortable . It’s a cosy apartment with breathtaking views . We loved our stay here . Traditional yet modern style blends in this livable family home. Fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances , all the amenities were perfect! I like the way the host created a beautiful setting every detail mattered . Every room is so livable and that’s what I love the most . We were planning to stay one month but ended up staying longer. Riziki is the most thoughtful gracious host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable . Exceptional Hospitality.

Wow! What a place. This is by far one of the best villas I have stayed at. Nina was such a great host, very friendly and her place was honestly perfect for our trip. The decor was stunning and soo beautiful. I used the swimming pool everyday which was in perfect condition. I will definitely be returning :)

Me and 7 other friends stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. We were a bit skeptical about not having a swimming pool, but a 1 minute walk by the beach and you can find Bahari which is great for food and The Loop which is great for swimming in pool (its free). We made an agreement to when the maids were supposed to clean wich was also great for those who like to sleep long. We had some difficulty finding the villa since we used our own driver, so I would recommend using the villas driver or set your google maps to Bahari Pizza Resturant to get there safely with your own driver. Overall the stay was great with a 10 minute drive to Paje city center, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Zanzibar:)
