Great couple getaway

A very comfortable and clean home on 1 acre. Great kitchen and all the amenities for cooking plus BBQ. Master suite with shower, double sinks and large soak tub. High quality linens and towels Everything you need to a relaxing getaway PET FEE- we do allow you to bring a well mannered dog. Please clean up after them so we can continue to allow this. Please don’t try to sneak in your dogs, without telling us. We have new protocols in place to help keep everyone safe. We have enacted rigorous cleaning procedures to keep our renters safe and healthy.

Cozy Beach House with panoramic mountain views

Get away from the crowds. Set back off the road but close to the beach. Great views all round with the ocean, mountains and meadows with cows quietly grazing. Come star gaze from the private hot tub on the back deck. Close to a well stocked local store, Point Arena is a 10 min drive to coffee shops and restaurants. You’ll love the house because of the outdoors space, beautiful gardens and the cool, clean ocean weather. It's really nice to cozy up to the gas fireplace on a foggy day.

A beautiful place for retreat and relaxation for the whole family, and your pet! Samantha is the ideal host - easy to communicate with and quick to reply. She gave us a heads up on the lack of cellular reception, though wifi is pretty stable. This was our first airbnb experience and had some questions to which she quickly responded to. Check-in and check-out instructions were very clear. Definitely recommend this place!

Absolutely Magical! Their home is exactly as posted. One thing I should note (though it does seem like they are working on a fix for it) the three homes have one bbq that they share. They were absolutely amazing and accommodating, I’m not saying this to take away from our experience. I’m just saying this as a heads up if you are someone who plans to live by the grill. Beautiful home, beautiful scenery, COMFORTABLE beds and linens, the list could go on. Thank you for sharing your home!

This was our second stay - such a special house situated in a perfect spot. We just love the feel of the place and it’s hard to beat the view and peacefulness of the location. Don’t miss the walk down to the beach (our kids and dog can manage the last little climb down with the rope), or sitting in the hot tub in the morning and evening. Easy drive to Mendocino and other spots as well.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Cheryl’s place! Cheryl was kind, responsive, and accommodating. The home is as described in the listing/photos, including the quirky spiral staircase which we didn’t mind at all. The neighborhood is quiet and the sound of the waves was peaceful. Our pups enjoyed running around the open property and meeting the very gentle dog next door. The only negative was the surprise $200 cleaning fee that isn’t mentioned in the listing, and since our stay was brief and we didn’t even have time to shower/make a mess, it seemed a bit much. Otherwise, a fantastic host and home!
