Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tysnes Municipality

There were two of us for about 1 week in the lovingly renovated Skolehus of Mette and Jan. Like the other vacationers, we find the location directly on the Sund with the fascinating view unique! Special thanks also to Mette for the tips to explore the area and the kindness. The house is extremely clean and really nicely decorated. The outdoor facilities (2 wooden terraces: one directly by the house and also one downstairs directly by the water) are very nice. We will keep the Skolehus in our hearts!

It is a very nice and cozy cabin with everything you need both inside and outside. The outdoor area was very nice with a cozy garden and a lovely view. Well arranged for sitting outside and with possibilities for wind protection. The view from the living room and garden was amazing. The host was available at all times and gave us fantastic information about everything in the cabin and outside, which saved us time to figure things out. Everything was in order both outside and inside, including safety inside in relation to fire safety. There was a boat available that worked very well, caught a lot of fish. Great hiking opportunities and shops easily accessible. We were 5 couples of friends who had a fantastic long weekend at the cabin. Suitable for children there as well.

Top accommodation with 100% referral A very nice house in an early location. Very good for relaxing and for activities. We were 2 adults and 3 children. Space is abundant and the house is very tastefully furnished. Fabulous view. Boat for fishing with its own jetty. One of the best houses we have had so far. Jorunn is a very nice and helpful person. Thank you from the whole family.

I, my partner and our dog were here in connection with the Stord handball festival. Here you will have a peaceful and relaxing holiday with great nature and wildlife right outside the window. One evening there were 10-12 deers outside the cabin. In the cabin you have everything you need and a little more. Short distance to Fitjar city centre, and approx. 30 min to Stord. Recommended :)

Great place to stay. Everything was fine. Spacious, clean, parking, garden with nice view. Recommend to everyone.

There was only one problem. The communication didn't work between Airbnb and Novasol. My messages didn't get through to the owner and the description about getting in was incorrect.

Host is friendly and reply quickly. The room is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the view from our room. Highly recommended this place as stopover prior heading to bergen.

Gorgeous two-story apartment — we stayed there with two families and had plenty of space. The place is bright, cozy, and has an amazing view. Everything we needed was available in the apartment. There are fishing rods and a great dock for fishing. A bus stop and a store are nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it!

I can’t recommend this property enough, we felt right at home. The hosts are so attentive and hospitable, we even changed our plans to use the kayak and to appreciate the location. We spent hours just looking out over the lake at the stunning views. The pictures we took look photoshopped they are so perfect. Family have already asked for the property details as want to stay. Our only regret is we couldn’t stay longer.

The place was lovely decorated. We arrived and felt right at home. The apartment was very quiet and cozy, everything was very clean. The hosts responded very quickly and nicely. All in all, great stay, would gladly come again.

Good host who answered any queries almost immediately. Clean and comfortable apartment with a private patio area. 10 minutes walk into Leirvik centre.

I summary, it was clean, great location and an amazing apartment to hang out in and enjoy the view of the fjord and surrounding mountains. It was a great location to stay for a visiting Salmon Eye as well, as it is a 2min walk down the stairs to the meeting point for the boat. Main bed was very soft. If you like soft beds, this is great. For me preferring a firmer mattress, this was not ideal. Also there is no microwave, so if this is something you need in your routine, just take note.

Very nice house. Absolutely comfortable. Felt like at home. Cecilie was very kind to allow me late check out. She also helped me to park my car for 10 days before my check in date (when I went for 10 days cruise from Bergen).

It was wonderful to stay here, we really enjoyed our time here. The place was super beautiful, and she had two super sweet cats walking around outside :)

Such a lovely huge and spacious apartment. Well insulated from sound. Two big comfortable beds. Wonderful kitchen/living area. Comfortable chairs for relaxing and enjoying the harbour view. All the amenities you need. Woukd thoroughly recommend this place.
