the host was very friendly and responsive. the house was extremely clean and tidy, modern and it had all the amenities that was needed. the location was nice and peaceful but not easy to find, although the host was very helpful and gave clear instructions.

Wow what a property and wow what a host! Each room was immaculate and dressed to impress. All the guests loved their rooms and the amenities. Some of us went to enjoy the lake we had access to for some paddle boarding while the others had spa treatments from two beauticians who came to the house. The spa area was amazing and felt like such a special place to relax and catch up with friends. I would totally recommend this location as it’s a 5 minute drive from Canterbury city centre and some local pubs. We would totally book this property again and even look at booking their other property as it looks just as amazing as this one. Allistair was a great host and replied to queries very quickly and answered questions about the history of the property. All of us were looking up various items of curiosity or furniture to recreate some of the magic in our own homes! Thank you for making my 40th birthday celebration with my friends one that we won’t forget in a long time!

Mary was a fantastic host! The accommodation was spotless with all the amenities you need. It was super snug and a great location for my dog with the fenced in garden. On arrival Mary was extremely helpful showing me around the accommodation and giving directions to different areas I wanted to visit. Thank you for a great stay 😊

We were 4 people so we squeezed in the Sheperds hut. It was perfect for the stay we needed. Within walking distance to a family party we were attending. Toilets were outside but were three proper toilets so nothing to worry about. We didn’t get chance to use all the facilities because it was just a flying visit but it was very lovely
