My family couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. As far as bang for your buck goes you can’t do better. Andrew and Hali were exceptional hosts, very responsive and helpful anytime we had questions. Everything was very clean, bedrooms and furniture throughout were very comfortable. My boys would absolutely love to come back, and we’d highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a seamless experience on a beautiful lake. Thank you for such a great experience!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage! It’s the perfect getaway—cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The highlight for us has to be the sunsets. We've traveled to many places, but nothing compares to the breathtaking sunsets here. The view is simply magical, with the sky painted in the most vibrant hues. Watching the sun dip below the horizon from the porch has become our favorite part of each day. We can't recommend this place enough !

This place was absolutely beautiful the second we walked in. It felt so cozy and homey. I believe it was even nicer in person than in the photos. Personally cleanliness is at the top for me and the place was spotless, and smelled so wonderful. You can tell they thoughtfully chose their cleaning products and body care products - which amplifies the stay making it almost feel spa like along with staying at a cute cottage! Brought along a young daughter, and she adored it here! Dmitry was so responsive too to our questions before hand and gave us so much added information to help us plan for our trip. They even surprised us with a special treat for celebrating my birthday while we were staying there. We hope to rebook many more times!

Great cottage - our family of 6 + our dog had a lovely stay. It’s a peaceful spot in the woods on a lake. We loved the hot tub, and beautiful views of lake in the snow. Host was responsive and snow cleared in time for our departure. Our kids enjoyed sledding on the hill down to the lake. The house had everything we needed, lots of towels, bedding and blankets. We had a great stay and would visit again.

We had a wonderful time at the Blue Cottage. The cottage was beautiful, super clean and well laid out with plenty of seating, two spacious bathrooms, three comfortable bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the bonus wet bar area with sink and fridge. Very bright interior with stunning views. Large screened-in in porch overlooking the marina was the best place for coffee and relaxation. The rear patio was perfect for evenings by the campfire. Location was awesome, on one of our favorite lakes in the Kawarthas, directly beside a restaurant and general store. Great communication too! Thank you!!

Thank you Tony for hosting us at your cottage. The place is beautiful and has that cottage feel from the moment you walk in. Perfect size too. The location is out of a post card. Loved the river at the back of the property. Tony is a great host. He contacted us before checking in and offered us to check in and out anytime we wanted to, muck earlier check in and much later check out. We didn't need to but was great knowing we had that option. We loved our stay and looking forward to coming back in the near future.

Super easy check-in process. We arrived much later than planned, took a bit to figure out the parking situation but once we figured out where we were supposed to be the rest of the stay went very smoothly. Fantastic location, very peaceful, if it had been a little less windy that weekend we would have totally started a fire in the fire pit and sat by the water to enjoy the view. The cabin itself is very cozy, in a good way; efficient kitchen (not exactly set up to cook a full dinner but plenty fine for breakfast, though you wouldn't want to with Mimi's place not even 10 minutes away). One thing to note, the shower head is pretty low (I am under 6' and had to bend down a bit to get my head wet; on the plus side, I finally know how tall people feel!). Cabin had two full size beds, not ideal for a family but it worked out with the little one slept on the couch. Wifi was reliable for the most part, signal did drop sporadically. Overall, awesome place, will stay again.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Loved my stay here! The place is modern, super clean, and feels very new. Big windows with a beautiful lake view—such a great way to start the day. Kitchen was fully stocked, and I loved having smart TVs in both the bedroom and living room. It’s only a 15-20 min drive to downtown, and check-in was super smooth with the code sent ahead of time. Would definitely come back!

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.

Our six weeks stay at Heathers place was amazing. She is one of the most accommodating hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The house was supurb, well heated and cozy for our winter stay. The kitchen modern and well equipped. The two bedrooms we used were a little small but more than adequate for our needs and the yard spacious. Thanks Douglas for the perfect cottage. The cottage is right on the lake Ontario and is huge. Its suitable for large groups. Garden is spacious, home was very neat & clean and perfect sunrise views. The deck can accommodate 15+ people for barbeque evenings. The dark skies are perfect for celestial viewing. We will recommend this for vacations.

All of us 8 people + 1 baby had a fantastic stay! The place is spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. We visited in winter with lots of snow, but the host made sure the driveway was cleared, which was super convenient. All the appliances and furniture are clean and well-maintained, making the stay even more enjoyable. The water filter provides great-tasting drinking water, which was a nice touch. The view is breathtaking, and the decor is stylish and inviting. There’s a Pack ’n Play for babies to sleep in and plenty of things for toddlers to enjoy. Highly recommend!
