Monthly Rentals in Turleigh

Our second stay at Gardener's Loft and we enjoyed it just as much. Very quiet and peaceful, yet an easy walk to town and everything we wanted to do. The bed is lovely and comfy and the space is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We walked down to the Hop Pole at Limpley Stoke which was a lovely walk along the canal followed by the most delicious supper - very much recommended!

We stayed here in unit 1 (2 adults, 2 children) for my mum’s 70th birthday with my brother, brother in law and mum staying in the barn next door with their 2 dogs. The barns were lovely and clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. There was a lovely welcome basket with bread, coffee, biscuits etc. and the thoughtful touch of a card and bottle of Prosecco for my mum. The outside space is beautiful and although there’s the hosts property and a couple of other properties nearby, it was peaceful and quiet. Our children made friends with the children from one of the other properties and had a great time playing in their garden together. Having George, Fred and Bambi (the horses) just on the other side of the fence for our stay was lovely-my children loved being able to stroke them whenever they wanted. This was a great place to stay for a large group with the ideal balance of being nextdoor to each other whilst still having our own space in the barns.

We really enjoyed our stay in this delightful annex of a beautiful home and garden with a really pleasant sitting out area. Gaik is a wonderful host, very warm, welcoming and helpful. We loved the spotless interior, massive bed and beautiful bathroom. I particularly liked the extremely well equipped kitchen with a whole host of tea and coffee choices not to mention the shimmering floor tiles throughout. Gaik had kindly left us some welcoming treats which was a really lovely touch, as were the fresh flowers. The location is lovely, very peaceful and easy to get into Bath. We hope to return to this wonderful holiday home, thank you for a great stay.

We could not have wished for a more relaxing break. Lovely to see Gay and Jonathan again, as welcoming and friendly as ever - you could not wish for better hosts. The studio is a joy to spend time in and is very well thought out and cared for. When we did tear ourselves away from it (it's so peaceful and relaxing to spend time in!) we easily filled our time with a variety of things to do from the doorstep. Exploring BoA itself: the Tithe Barn area and the area called Tory, with its great views and lovely gardens. We also did walks to Iford Manor, Freshford, and Limpley Stoke (great pub with imaginative menu and lovely outdoor space!). Canal and river walks so pleasant and easy. We had some lovely food out but also found it perfect for picking up bits and pieces locally (including a good Sainsbury's, which we walked to along the canal) when we decided to cook for ourselves. We have booked to come back, can't wait for our lovely little 'mini' break!
