Ideal for a short break. The house was clean and very well equipped . Walkable to the village pubs, village store and Orford quay. Perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.

This was my second stay at Raymers Cottage, and it was every bit as perfect as the first. Kate and Steve are such warm and welcoming hosts, and made sure we had all the information we needed before arrival. We were really thrilled with the delicious homemade cake, which we enjoyed while relaxing in the beautiful secluded garden. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. We were only there three nights and only cooked once, but the kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage is decorated and furnished to a very high spec, while remaining sympathetic to its age and location. Kat and Steve have created a wonderfully cosy and special space which is not only a haven to relax in but within easy reach of so many wonderful places to visit, such as Sutton Hoo, Orford, Southwold, Woodbridge, Framlingham, The Food Museum and Aldeburgh. We’d definitely stay in Raymers Cottage again!

A return stay here, always lovely & very peaceful. I love that it's in tge countryside but near to the beach & some towns. Miranda is always really helpful & friendly. Thank you very much for having us to stay.

My visit at Lydia's was above all expectations! Warm and friendly host with the utmost professionalism , care and consideration. The studio is finished to a very high standard and the village itself provides a laid back atmosphere condusive for any creativity. I will definitely be returning soon.!
