Monthly Rentals in Tshoka

The stay and service provided was top notch. But I would like to mention 2 issues. 1. The location displayed even after booking is not accurate. 2. The host was unresponsive due to some personal reasons but that affected our check in.

We had a fantastic stay at Samaghang Cottage. Firstly, the views of Pandim mountain and the surrounding range are outstanding - probably the best that we saw during our stay in Sikkim. The property is located on the outer edge of the village of Kewzing - it's a very serene location and yet one can easily walk into the main bazaar area within 10 minutes. For those who are interested in longer walking trails, there are a number of routes - including walks to nearby monasteries which again offer fantastic views. The villagers were very friendly and helped us with directions and information. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Because we were travelling in the month of January it was quite cold from the evening through to the morning - but adequate blankets were provided. In the room you have a kettle and hot water in the bathrooms. Biggest thanks go to Amit and Srimanta who went above and beyond to share conversations and local information with us. We really appreciated their efforts!!!

The place is a straight out of storybooks. The views of Kanchenjunga added to the whole experience. The place is nestled atop a mountain overlooking the famous Buddha Park and Kanchenjunga. Still cannot get over the views. The accomation was a private cottage with all the amenties as mentioned in the description. Food was simple and delicious. A note of caution in terms of approach road. The last 500 mtrs to 1 km is stone paved road which is best driven using a bigger vehicle with adequate ground clearance. Or rely on local taxi operators to navigate. ( But to the listings credit, they already mention this in advance). If you are looking to just chill out and have a relaxed time with friends and family, u cant get a better place than this in Ravlanga ( for that matter anywhere else ) . Highly recommended if you r travelling to Ravlanga. We actually visited Ravlanga because we bumped into this homestay ! Will definitely visit again if we manage to plan another trip here !

Sristi's mud house is straight out of a fairy tale - magical , mystical and dreamy. Highly recommend it to someone looking to live a slow life in hinterlands. The house is built with a lot of care and thought. The artefacts of bamboo and wood give it an earthy charm. One can spend hours here with nature - the surrounding forest sounds , clear night sky and village / farm walks rekindled our spirits. Sristi herself and her family are very warm and welcoming. The food they cook on a wood fired cookstove is simple and delicious. Thanks for everything Sristi , including the small picnic at the river. PS - don't forget to ask for Shimpu Guras wine prepared from Rhododendron!
