Shillong places to stay

Spacious home . Great for hosting a family . Handy to shops . The home had almost everything you might need . Washing machine was a great bonus also 2 bathrooms . It was a comfortable stay for 12 days . Banika was always responsive to our txts. Would highly recommend especially for families . Affordable stay in Shillong .

This place is undoubtedly a 5/5—excellent in every aspect. From the location to the sparkling clean and neatly kept house, to the privacy—it has everything you could ask for. And the best part is the host, Larisha. Every guest would want a host like her: kind, humble, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Simply the best. I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a home away from home in Shillong.

I love old Assam type house and this house is perfect for me. Old houses are not easy to clean or maintain, if you are looking for a modern and sparkly clean place, this is not a place for you. I LOVE the location and the space. It takes about 7 minutes to trek up the hills to get to the busiest part of Laitumkhrah where all the actions are. The walk up and down the steep hills is part of the fun for us but, if you are not physically active, you may have a hard time catching your breath walking up the hills. I didn't have to call for a taxi but if you do need one, it's probably not a problem since it's so close to the Laitumkhrah taxi stand. The property is very spacious; 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a kitchen and a living room. There are two balconies, the back balcony has a nice view of the stadium and the front balcony receives plenty of sun for several hours each day. Perfect for sunbathing on sunny winter days. Marc and Jason were kind, responsive and helpful. Thank you both!

Wanda is one of the kindest and thoughtful host I’ve come across - and she has curated a wonderful stay in Shillong She is always eager to help and make their guests feel welcome The property is absolutely great , with one shortcoming being the geyser in master bathroom working too well, and does not work the way intended

One the most amazing and comfortable stays I have ever experienced!! Iba is truly a gem of a person. She was very prompt in her response and services ! The place was was very homely and beautifully decorated. Will 100% recommend to stay here.

Vivi’s place was great , felt right at home . She was a very friendly and responsive host.I had gone with my parents and relatives , everyone felt comfortable at Vivi’s home. So i recommend her place for a great vacay in Shillong.

Phiba, the host is super sweet. Responsible. We wanted to check-in before 3 hrs of check-in time and that too was last moment, but she made that possible. Without any extra fee. Not only Phiba, we met with her family , they all very welcoming. She has 4 beautiful babies! 3 dogs and one little cat! They were definitely a cherry on the cake! It's sad that we book last moment and we were only there for one day, the next days were already booked. But if we are coming back , we will definitely stay at hers! It’s a really clean,beautiful and peaceful place. Despite the late night check in the host was very co operative. The host’s sister is very helpful she helped us with late night dinner offered us some food. Definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Shillong.
