El entorno es fantástico, plena naturaleza pero con todas las comodidades. Los anfitriones no pueden ser mas amables. Piscina vallada y sala de juegos, ideal para niños pequeños y grandes. Volveremos.

Nuestra estancia en El Molino fue simplemente increíble. Es una de esas propiedades únicas y especiales que te dejan sin palabras. Aunque las fotos reflejan su belleza, vivirlo en persona supera todas las expectativas. Despertar rodeados de cascadas privadas fue un auténtico sueño. La decoración y el equipamiento del Molino parecen sacados de una revista, con cada detalle pensado con cariño para crear un ambiente cálido y acogedor. Viajamos en grupo con varios amigos, nuestros hijos y un par de perritos, y la experiencia fue perfecta en todos los sentidos. Desde el primer momento, Jorge estuvo siempre atento, facilitando la reserva y asegurándose de que todo saliera bien. En el Molino, Bianca nos recibió con la mejor disposición, haciendo que nuestra estancia fuera aún más fácil y placentera. Muchísimas gracias a ambos por hacer de este viaje algo tan especial. Sin duda, volveremos.

La casa excepcional y Paco de 10. Además de la limpieza y la comodidades de la casa. Se adaptó a nuestro horario de llegada. Los detalles de bienvenida de Paco para la cena y el desayuno excepcionales. De las recomendaciones que nos dió para visitar el pueblo destacaría el castillo y el original cementerio. Nuestra estancia coincidió con el carnaval de Montanchez que es realmente curioso. Nos indicó también donde aparcar en Cáceres y nos vino de maravilla.

Chemari fue un anfitrión de 10. Dispuesto a ayudarnos en todo momento con lo que necesitábamos. Tuvimos un problemilla con la sauna y enseguida subió a atendernos y dejarlo solucionado. Por otro lado, nos dejó varios detalles como una botella de vino, café y zumos. El loft es tal como se ve en las fotos pero incluso a la llegada, mejora lo visto en esas fotos. Todo muy nuevo, muy bien cuidado y con mucho gusto en la decoración. La chimenea vista desde la cama es otro 10. Además, nos recomendó rutas o lugares a los que ir en la zona y aprovechar más nuestra estancia. Volvemos con las pilas recargadas, ya que tanto la casa como la zona ayudan a ello. Totalmente recomendable. Si se da la ocasión, volveremos.

Todo genial! Muy muy limpio y espacioso. Nos quedamos con ganas de volver y disfrutar de la piscina. Cómodo que sean 2 casas y tiene más intimidad que estar todos juntos, muy bien pensado que cada habitación (menos una) tenga su baño. En nuestra habitación nos hubiera gustado que la ducha tuviera más fuerza y más tiempo de agua caliente. Pero todo muy bien, muy buena elección. Gracias

Hemos estado como en casa, Pedro y Tere fueron muy atentos y amables. la vivienda está en sitio espectacular y tiene todo lo necesario.

La casa es...simplemente maravillosa. Es verdad q el camino para llegar es algo complicado pero esq estás en plena naturaleza(enseguida se ofrecen a llevarte hasta alli desde candeleda). Por dentro ha cuidado mucho los detalles, una decoración genial. La cocina con mucho menaje que se agradece. Muy amplia y luminosa con muchas salidas al jardin exterior. La cabaña en el árbol un gran plus para peques, la han disfrutado mucho. Cierto es que la quinta habitacion no es cerrada, comunica con el salón, en cuanto a ruido difícil dormir ahí cuando somos muchos, pero nos ha valido con las otras 4 habitaciones. De lo único q se ha quejado la mayoría es de los colchones, creo q es un punto a mejorar y más que la mayoria son camas pequeñas de 80, para adultos pequeñas. Es un lugar encantador al que merece la pena ir, la hemos disfrutado mucho!

La casa es muy cómoda y bonita. Mantiene todo su encanto y sus diferentes espacios dan mucho juego. Permite explorar muy bien una zona que es muy especial por sus pueblos, gentes y paisajes.

El alojamiento está completamente equipado para disfrutar de unos días en la Sierra de Gata. La ubicación es excelente para explorar la zona. Las estancias están distribuidas en dos plantas: en la planta baja se encuentran la cocina y el salón (hay escaleras para llegar aquí), y en la planta superior las habitaciones y el baño.

Comodidad, limpieza, tranquilidad y sobre todo un ambiente ideal para desconectar del mundo. Todo estaba muy limpio y no le faltaba ningún detalle.

A lovely chalet, clean and with modern amenities. We particularly liked the log burning fire, which we used as it was cold outside in the evening. A great location at the top of the village, which itself is nestled on the hillside. Our dog loved the fenced-in outside space connected to the villa and we all enjoyed the nearby scenery and ability to walk straight into the hills. One point worth mentioning is that the streets in the town leading up to the villa are narrow. It was fine for us because we were in a car, but it would be more difficult if visitors were travelling in a larger vehicle such as a caravan.

From the post-card perfect town of Candeleda with its medieval church and flower-lined lanes, you head up a steep road, winding above the Gorge of Santa Maria, with its rushing water and natural pools, looking over the jagged Sierra de Gredos mountains. Tucked in a deep thicket of pine trees, next to an olive grove, is a house. Carmela and Jacobo's house. It looks quant, all brick red stucco and wood-timbered frames... but it is not just any house. It is a magic house. You enter into a world of calm and serenity. The entire house is cool - go ahead, take off your shoes, feel the cool terracotta slabs beneath your feet. This is thanks to the technological wonder of Aerothermia - a cooling/heating system that runs under the floors and keeps the whole house an even temperature - it was a glorious drench of cool during the searing days of August. There are two small bedrooms, each with two beds and a grand window looking out over the valley, the village of Candeleda and the mountains below. The master bedroom is a refuge with a large bed, comfy and welcoming, a master bath with two sinks and a double shower, and a vast jacuzzi that was out of order during our stay - but it was too hot for jacuzzis anyway. The best part of the bedroom is the vast window over the bed looking into an ancient olive grove, like a painting, but not still life, real life. Be sure to keep those blinds open. There is another small bath, and then the huge kitchen / living room. Every wall is a window. There's a pine forest out the kitchen, a thick garden of flowers and trees from one side of the living room, and then the massive wall-sized windows overlooking the valley. Enjoy the view from two cozy-fat sofas, with no TV to disturb you. Where one might be is a fireplace which should be glorious in winter. Kitchen is fully stocked with whatever you need, living room as lots of lamps, a big table for dining, a desk for working, and a rocking chair by the window that my youngest son claimed for his own. Head out the kitchen and follow the stone path to a clearing in the woods, the bosque. This is where you hang your clothes while surrounded by the hum of birds, the rustle of something in the woods, the breeze off the valley below. If you have to do laundry, this is the way to do it. And if you don't want to, the wonderful Bea can be hired to help you out. There is also a stone table, perfect for morning coffee. Back in the house, the best part awaits - the terrace, the size of a tennis court, overlooking Candeleda to the left, the valley in front, and the Gredos mountains to the left. Sunsets are a dizzying palette of peach and pink, a swash of purple, then the sky falls and night rises. With it a million stars, every star, Saturn and Jupiter too. This is where you'll want to spend your nights, every night. But then it is day and the heat rises like a furnace, so head out the front door, follow the gray-brick road, winding down to the swimming pool. Surrounded by lemon and orange trees, the pool is deep enough for cannon balls, placid enough for floating. There are several lounge chairs and the best place for them is tucked under the grove of trees - who needs an umbrella? What else do you need to need to know? Well, this magic casa has 3 other rentals on its property - two small apartments under the giant terrace, and a little bungalow down by the road. So, you'll find people about, at the pool, on the paths, this is not isolation. And speaking of, you are just a 8 minute walk downhill to the lively little village of Candeleda and its natural swimming pools (Carreras and Palomas), many restaurants (don't miss La Barranca and Casa Pepe) and lively Plaza Castillo. But what goes down must go up, and it is a very steep climb up. I'm tough, the only person in the world who loves burpees, and that climb nearly killed me under the sun. At dusk it was fine, as long as the sun wasn't slicing into my back, it was okay. But be aware of it if you plan on coming here without a car. BUT, climbing is all a part of Candeleda. There are numerous hiking routes all over the region, one of the best, Puerto de Candeleda, goes right past the magic house. So, bring your hiking shoes. Some other things, I read other reviews here about the heat and the bugs. Well, the aerothermia solved the heat problem and there are sturdy mosquito nets over every window. Water comes fresh from the mountain via a well, and it did run out a few times, usually late at night, and we were prepared as we had filled up plastic jugs from the fountain down at the entrance to the pueblo. Overall, I would love to go back every weekend, every holiday, every summer... but for now, my family and I have our memories of our magic house in the woods, high above Candeleda. La casa y la zona espectaculares. Ricardo, el host, tambien muy amable y atento. Repetiremos seguro. Como sugerencia para Ricardo, poner mas menaje como cubiertos, platos y algún paño de cocina mas, nos faltaron algunas toallas y algunos basicos del dia a dia. La recomiendo totalmente.

El entorno es una maravilla. Si lo que buscas es un remanso de paz en la naturaleza, desconectar, paseos, música, lectura…….Este es tu sitio. Totalmente privado. Hay mil sitios para visitar y parajes naturales preciosos si te apetece moverte. Nos ha encantado pasar estos días de navidades allí. 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

Se trata de una casa muy cómoda en un emplazamiento inmejorable para disfrutar del entorno y la tranquilidad. Por su parte, los anfitriones fueron muy atentos y amables en todo momento, repetiremos sin duda

Ha sido una estancia mejor incluso de lo que pensábamos! La casa era muy bonita y estaba todo impecable. El desayuno que nos dejaban estaba muy bueno y variado. José Andrés estuvo muy pendiente en todo momento y nos recomendó lugares que visitar y restaurantes cercanos. La ubicación era muy buena, muy cerca de Monfragüe y Plasencia no estaba lejos para visitarlo. En nuestra próxima visita nos alojaremos aquí sin pensarlo

Lamentablemente la estancia fue muy breve,nos hubiera encantado disfrutarla más ,la casa muy acogedora.Con mucho detalle La atención y la ubicación del pueblo estaba genial. Gracias.

Una maravilla de casa y de anfitriona. Para aquellos que buscan tranquilidad y pasar unos días en pleno campo pero cerca de poblaciones para visitar, tiene la ubicación perfecta. La casa está equipada como si estuvieses en la tuya, no echamos nada de menos. Hemos disfrutado muchísimo de nuestros días de escapada.

Nos hemos alojado 5 adultos y dos niños en la casa de Julio y ha sido una estancia muy cómoda. La casa está equipada con todo lo necesario, las habitaciones son muy amplias. Está muy bien comunicada para realizar visitas por la zona.
