Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Tromsøya

it's quite far from the city ( 15 minutes by taxi ) i tried to call uber at 3pm and i could't get one. Tom said i could call taxi ( or book through website ) , which i haven't tried. there's a bus stop nearby, but you must go downhill from the apartmen. if you bring many lugagges, i think taxi is best. that's the downside. but the apartmen itself, loveeee it. The view facing tromso ( from 2 of the 3 bedrooms, and from living room ) is superb. so, no regrets. really enjoyed our stay here.

Le logement est absolument parfait. Nous avons vécu une expérience unique grâce a ce logement. La vue est extraordinaire. La réalité du lieu est encore mieux que sur les photos. Tout est pensé pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible. La cuisine est impeccable et dispose d’absolument tout ce dont on a besoin. Même un appareil pour faire la mousse de lait. Nous étions 6 et jamais nous nous sommes sentis entassés, le logement est très ouvert et spacieux. L’attention aux détails, aux matériaux de construction nobles, à la décoration ou aux plantes y amène une énergie unique… on s’y sent bien. le calme qui y règne est une autre grande qualité du logement. Qui plus est, la communication avec les propriétaires a été hyper efficace, rapide et précise. Ils sont d’une grande gentillesse. Je ne peux pas un conseiller ce logement, il est l’un des meilleurs que j’ai expérimenté sur Airbnb et je n’irais ailleurs sous aucun prétexte si je revenais à Tromsø

Ce sont peut-être nos meilleures vacances ! de nombreux rêves se sont réalisés ! voir tous les jours les marsouins depuis la maison était incroyable ! tout était super ! Bard, Mary, Esben et Filip sont tous de belles personnes. Merci de nous avoir accueillis, merci pour votre gentillesse, merci pour ce que vous faites dans le programme d'aide aux enfants, merci de nous avoir aidés avec le sauna et de nous avoir encouragés à nous baigner en sortant : une expérience très bénéfique pour notre calme intérieur. Les animaux sont vraiment un plus ! Merci à Tinka pour sa gentillesse, sa douceur et sa joie avec les enfants ! Merci au chef pour les dîners et petits déjeuners d'une qualité exceptionnelle ! au passage votre histoire commune est si belle ! et merci de s'appliquer à utiliser des produits frais et réellement locaux (viandes de la ferme ou de chasse alentours, poisson pêché dans le fjord, baies sauvages et tout le reste cultivé sur place, pain maison excellent).... Bref ! à bientôt !

Ce logement est placé idéalement avec un vue exceptionnelle depuis le balcon, on a eut la chance d'apercevoir des aurores boréales ! Cette cabane est parfaite pour 2 avec tous les équipements nécessaires au séjour. Les instructions de Hennes étaient claires et simples. Je recommande !

Maison au pied du fjord, un lieu superbe si vous chercher à etre dans un endroit tranquille. La vue est magnifique. Il y a tous le necessaire pour passer un bon séjour, pas de micro onde par contre. Arrivée et depart facile avec la boite à clé.

La casa es muy cómoda y la vista es espectacular. La mayor parte del tiempo que estuvimos en la casa fue en los sillones observando el paisaje. Cuando llegamos a la casa estaba calentita lo que se agradece con el frío y nieve que había afuera. La llegada a la casa fue un poco caótica ya que no sabíamos por donde se entraba, el camino y las escaleras estaban completamente tapados de nieve y después de descubrir por dónde era, fue un desafío subir con las maletas y con mi mamá con problemas a las rodillas, pero pude usar una pala para despejar un poco el camino. Ahora nos reímos de eso pero al momento de la llegada y nevando no fue muy bonito jajaj. Independiente de eso, Trude siempre estuvo atenta a mis preguntas y con muy buena disposición. Hay una parada de buses cerca que te lleva al centro de la ciudad pero cruzando el puente a pie también se puede. Y el teleférico está cerca también caminando. Volvería a quedarme aquí una próxima vez, gracias por todo!

What a perfect place to spend some time in Tromso! Kristin Helene was very communicative from the start. We appreciated her warm welcome. We were not able to meet her in person but the personal note left on the table was such a nice touch. We liked being in Hamna a bit removed from the buzzing city center and only 30 min by bus (bus 28 stop is right down the street). Kristin's apartment is the most homey Airbnb we've ever stayed in and was so comfortable. BTW, the beds are amazing and there is more that you need. We enjoyed the last bit of the northern lights from the porch. We hope to be back one day. Thanks Kristin for sharing your sweet home with us.

Wonderful place within walking distance to the city centre. Great view of the mountains. My kids enjoyed playing with the snow in the yard and the sledge at the nearby playground. The place is clean and has all the amenities needed for a family.

Great friendly host in an incredible location. We found lots of peaceful areas nearby to walk in the snow. We rented but there are many easy ways to reach the town centre whether by foot or public transportation. Sauna was lovely and the apartment is even cleaner and nicer than the photos. Would recommend for a lovely cozy holiday! :)

Die Wohnung ist wundervoll und für alle die keinen Luxus brauchen und Natur genießen super. Wir haben aus Wohnzimmerfenster auf den Fjord geschaut und Seeadler beobachtet, waren Muscheln sammeln und haben wilde Rentiere getroffen. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Besonders gefreut haben wir uns über den Holzofen. Heidi hat uns auch herzlich willkommen geheißen und einige Tipps gegeben was wir machen und anschauen können. Das war super :)

Utrolig fint og koselig sted. Hyggelige og utrolig hjelpsomme verter. Svarte alltid raskt på meldinger og fant fram ting om vi manglet. Sendte en veldig fin og nyttig guide bok og stelte til og med stand en velkomstgave. Verdt alle pengene. Anbefaler sterkt denne leiligheten om man skal til Tromsø🤩

Die Unterkunft ist der Hammer. Die Wohnung ist im 8.Stock und ist in das Meer hinaus gebaut. Vom Balkon und vom Wohnzimmer aus hat man eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Auf Anfragen wurde immer sehr schnell geantwortet. Die Unterlagen um die Unterkunft zu finden, sowie die Beschreibung wo der PP und der Wohnungsschlüssel ist waren top. Die Wohnung entsprach zu 100% unseren Vorstellungen. Unser Sohn ist Rollstuhlfahrer, die Wohnung ist für Rollstuhlfahrer sehr zu empfehlen Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, dass wir in dieser tollen Unterkunft zu Gast sein durften.

Such a stunning apartment, especially the view - I even got to see the northern lights from the room! Very clean, kitchen has everything you need. Would 100% stay again! If I’m being picky, I would’ve loved to know that the bathroom isn’t in a private space. It’s a private bathroom only for your use, but you have to go out into the hallway of the house to reach it. It means you can’t nip out to the loo in the night without needing to get dressed! Not a big deal, but might be helpful info for somebody looking to stay :)

The apartament in Tromsø was very spaciou, good beds, good shower, and very clean. Joachim was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. The location was incredibly, being a short ride by taxi from and to the airport and walking distance to the city center. The washer and dryer was very convenient since we had another city to visit. I would highly recommended his accommodation e will be back in Tromsø in the Summer on the future.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in Ingrids Haus verbracht und uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr wohnlich und gemütlich eingerichtet und liegt an einer super Lage in Tromsø. Ingrid war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele gute Tipps über die Gegend gegeben. Die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben, es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Herzlichen Dank, Ingrid, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Haus ist wirklich toll und sieht genau wie auf den Fotos aus, die Lage ist mega und obwohl ich alleine eine Woche dort verbracht habe, kann man dort gut mit 2-4 Personen (für 5+6 gibt es dann nur noch Hochbetten und für 7+8 ein abgetrenntes Bett im großen Schlafzimmer) bleiben. Es ist ruhig, man hat einen schönen Ausblick aufs Wasser, alles funktioniert soweit (außer vieler kaputter Deckenleuchten) und man kann von dort aus viele Unternehmungen starten (z.B. Hundeschlittenfahren nur 10min entfernt und nach Tromsø sind es auch nur 20min). Leider wurde die Zufahrt nicht regelmäßig geräumt, trotz täglichen Schneefalls lediglich zweimal auf Nachfrage. Selbst mit einem Allrad-SUV benötigt es also etwas Erfahrung, um den Berg wieder raufzukommen. Zudem sind ein Großteil der Töpfe in der Küche nicht für den Induktionsherd geeignet, was das Kochen stark einschränkt. Wenn man dies weiß, kann man besser planen :)

Our stay with Odd-Geir was truly fantastic! The house was cozy and made us feel like we were right in the heart of the Arctic. We enjoyed the grill house and the sauna—both added a special touch to our experience. Odd-Geir lent us his car during our stay, which was incredibly helpful. One of the highlights was going fishing with him on his boat—an unforgettable adventure! He’s a genuine host who absolutely enhanced our experience in Tromvik. Highly recommended!

Die Kvalöya Lodge ist eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten und Ketil der netteste und fürsorglichste Gastgeber, den man sich vorstellen kann. Wir haben besonders die Aussicht auf den Fjord, das abendliche Kaminfeuer, die Nordlichter und Ketils Tipps (Husky Tour mit Active Tromsö, Rentierherde (sie mögen übrigens Möhren), Sommaröy, Eidel Handel (toller Supermarkt für Selbstversorger), Söstrene Kafé in Tromsvik) sehr genossen. Wir hatten zum Schluss sehr viel Schnee - die Landstraße wird zum Glück rund um die Uhr gut geräumt. Schneeschuhe und Spikes stehen den Gästen zur Verfügung.

This house was absolutely amazing in every way. Very clean and extremely comfortable. We felt like home from the first minute. Ingvar is such a friendly host and communication with him was easy. You can feel that he normally lives there, the place is so cosy. We also loved the hot tub! Since it is outside of the city the sky is really dark and we could see the northern lights from our porch on three days in a row! The kitchen is perfectly well equippec and we cooked most of our meals there. We would definitively return to Ingvars house.

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)
