Lovely village house, East Pyrenees

This quaint village house is located high up in the pretty hillside village of Rodes. Rodes rests in the Languedoc Roussillon/Pyrenees-Orientales region of France where Mount Canigou dominates the skyline. A 30 minute drive takes you to Perpignan and the stunning Mediterranean coast. The house has breath taking views of Mount Canigou from the rooftop terrace and can comfortably sleep up to 4 persons. It has a private garage, free WIFI and two bikes available for guests to use. On the ground floor is the walk through garage and a utility area with a washing machine. The two bedrooms are on the first floor. The 2nd floor offers open plan living with a fully equipped kitchen and an area for relaxing and eating. From here you access the sunny outdoor terrace and the mezzanine bathroom. The house and the area are perfect for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Nearby is a village shop and easy access to the main road between Perpignan and Andorra. The village of Vinca is within walking distance and you can swim, relax and sunbathe on the shores of the crystal clear lake. Maison Mimosa is located in an exceptionally picturesque area ideal for walking and mountain biking as well as a visit to the world reknowned hot springs at Thomas Les Bains. During the winter season, the nearest slopes are just a 45 minute drive away. The 50 euros rate per night is negotiable dependent on number of guests, number if nights booked and the season. Located near a charming little village very sunny, on the road to Andorra, this air-conditioned cottage offers direct access to many hiking trails, while being 1 hour from the high mountain and 1 hour from the sea. For a few days or just one night the farm welcomes you. The lac de vinça is very close. We signal that the access is an unpaved path (800m) with a ford to cross ( the ford is currently dry). An amazing gitê, superbly equipped and spotlessly clean. Beautifully furnished, and a great plus having air conditioning. Attention to detail, in everything, is very apparent. The outdoor terraces around the gitê, are just perfect especially with the sales to protect from the sun. The pool area is breathtaking with its amazing views of the countryside & valley. Sophie & Christophe, were very welcoming & made us feel right at home. We very much look forward to returning.

We spent a few days of sleep at Jean Claude and Manu's apartment. We felt at home and they treated us very well, very friendly and close. The place has everything that is a must for a pleasant stay. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped to make meals there. We are in love with and around the village of Eus. A great experience and highly recommended that we will repeat well for sure!

Francis' apartment is absolutely beautiful, much more than the photos show! Tastefully decorated, this is a very pleasant space to live in. The setting with the small terrace is a real plus. Francis was also very responsive and accommodating, we would be happy to come back!
