A very lovely few days ! Phil was on hand, super helpful and gave us a tour of the garden and an opportunity for our granddaughter to take a peak at the chicks and have great fun playing fetch with Bert the dog. A fab house, nicely situated. Perfect for us as a base for the Festival. Many thanks Phil

A lovely house in a beautiful village. Very comfortable. Host immediately available for any problems though there weren’t any. Very welcoming and helpful. Parking two minutes away in free car park but easy to stop outside the house for loading and unloading.

Chicken house dome

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful, peaceful, unique little chicken house dome, clearly built with love by Doug. Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and everything you could need is provided for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. Host was super friendly and responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touches leaving us fresh milk, Welsh cakes etc! Would definitely stay again if we were in Brecon - thanks so much Doug and Judy 😊

Coity Cottage

We had the most peaceful stay in Alastair's cottage. It was easy to access with the lockbox and had everything we needed for our stay. The cottage was clean, had a comfortable bed and had a useful welcome guide with local recommendations. We were impressed with the scenic location and how quiet and private it felt. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cosy cottage getaway!

Dafad Du-Black mountain bespoke breaks-Twin bath!

AshleyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
A Peaceful Escape in the Heart of Nature I had such a wonderful stay at Caitlin’s shepherd’s hut, Defad Du – Black Mountain. From the moment I arrived, I felt instantly welcomed and relaxed. The hut is beautifully thought out cozy, spotless, and full of charming touches that make it feel really special. The views of the Black Mountains are absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the peaceful sounds of nature was a real treat. It’s the perfect spot to disconnect, unwind, and enjoy the countryside. The wood-burning stove kept everything nice and warm, and the bed was super comfy ideal after a day of exploring the local area. Caitlin was a fantastic host friendly, thoughtful, and always quick to respond. You can tell she’s put a lot of care into creating a memorable experience. I’d highly recommend Defad Du to anyone looking for a quiet retreat in a stunning location. I’m already dreaming of coming back!

Cosy loft apartment for a Brecon Beacons adventure

Frank and HarrietRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We absolutely loved our stay in Llonghorse. The loft was great, nicely decorated and we felt right at home. The apartment had everything we could wish for. We chose to eat out as we were only staying 2 nights. Both pubs have very good food. We definitely recommend this place, thanks Anne!
