Excellent, peacefully located, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped holiday lodge on working farm with beautiful views. Sarah and Steve were friendly and attentive hosts such that we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We appreciated the ‘extras’ provided such as condiments, spices and cooking oil, as well as tea, coffee and biscuits and toiletries. We enjoyed walks across the fields to the lovely pub at Newbridge-on-Usk and sitting on the sun-filled patio and in the lounge watching the sunset (and the cows!) Good location for shops/ pubs nearby at Usk, Llandegfedd Reservoir, Caerlon and for Newport for our son who ran the Marathon. We most definitely recommend Fox Acre Lodge and we hope to return. Thank you for everything.

I stayed for 7nights and it was absolutely beautiful,great views from the barn. Beth was great. Very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Very well equipped kitchen so really easy to cook meals,truly recommend it to any one who just wants to wind down,only been home a few hours and missing it already.Without a doubt I’d definitely go again.

Lovely peaceful location. Easy to find and check in was great and welcoming. Provided little extras like treats for the dog plus bread and eggs which is more than you normally receive. Clean and beautiful annexe. We stayed for a couple of nights as a peaceful location to unwind and explore the area. Lots of walks and tea rooms. Would recommend and hope to return.
