It was very nice, we love the place.

Lilijana was a great host. She gave us all the information we needed. We were feeling like we were staying at our friend’s house, it was really cosy. The place was equipped with everything we needed. It was really calming just to chill at the garden. And there are also lots of different hiking options around. The view was amazing from the house, you feel the nature. We are already planning to come back again 😅 definitely recommended!

Just... wow. Matej's cottage is like a little corner of paradise in Slovenia's wine-growing region. We came in April - think sunny days, cooler nights - which was the perfect time of year to enjoy the hot tub and sauna in the evening on the deck, watching the sun set over the mountains. The area is very rural and not many people around, so great if you're after a bit of privacy. There's so much birdsong and nature around, and you can take walks around the villages from the cottage. The cottage itself is diddy - just enough room for two. Comfortable memory foam pillows and mattress. But the standout feature has to be the beautiful deck and the unreal view. Matej was beyond helpful. He called in to drop off sauna wood, and give us so many recommendations for things to do in the local area - hikes, restaurants, castles, natural spas. He even dropped off some delicious homemade wine! Would 100% recommend for a relaxing, peaceful escape.

Before we arrived, Lili contacted us to give us various useful information and was available as needed. She was friendly. The tiny was very clean and as described. It is very well equipped. We would definitely recommend this listing.
