Set in a beautiful location and peaceful.Clean and comfortable home with everything we needed for a family holiday. Gwen left a welcome book full of helpful information of the surrounding area and things we needed to know.There we're also goodies left out for us which were lovely after our long drive.The cottage itself was outstanding and makes you feel like it's home from home.The main bedroom had the most incredible views.Beds were comfortable with beautiful cotton sheets.The hot tub was a welcome extra after a day at the beach.The garden is quiet and fenced off so it was totally safe for the dog to run around.We had a great Easter weekend and would not hesitate to book it again or recommend it to others.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Orchid Meadows Nature Reserve. Although this is a 2 guest property we contacted the hosts to ask if we could bring our baby and they were happy to allow this. This was to be our babies first mini break and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Instantly the property felt like home from home and provided everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. The hosts kindly offered us wonderful fresh eggs and produce from their poly tunnel on top of the delightful cakes awaiting us on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed using the map to wander round the nature reserve - so much thought and effort has gone into it. If you are looking for somewhere to switch off, feel refreshed and love nature look no further. Very welcoming hosts and great accommodation. Set in beautiful countryside surrounded by fields. Bed was super comfortable and great tea and coffee facilities. Shower was lovely with addition of shampoo and conditioner and hair dryer which was really great since I had forgotten mine. Good WiFi and Netflix available. I had a very peaceful and relaxing stay. Will definitely be booking again in future.

Lovely cottage, really private and peaceful. Lots of walks from the doorstep with an enclosed garden opposite to take the dog. The cottage was well furnished with everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
