Tucked Inn: Dog Friendly Secluded Mountain Cabin

IzekielRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My girlfriend and I had a great time spending the weekend at Tucked Inn and, for the most part, everything went as smoothly as expected! We arrived late, and there was a gentleman there starting some work on the property’s hot tub. We got in touch with Donnie using his phone, and my understanding is that the repairman was meant to arrive earlier in the day. I don’t necessarily believe it was any fault of the hosts that he was around. The drive up is straightforward as long as you follow the instructions the hosts provide; the path requires 1.5-2 miles of unmapped travel, so a GPS alone won’t quite get you there. Although I would definitely recommend traveling with a higher-clearance vehicle, my compact sedan made it up just fine with some caution and patience. Overall, Tucked Inn was a great space to unplug and unwind which is something we both really needed. It’s a very cozy and low-tech-vacation space I would hope we have the chance to come back to in the future!

Wild Thing - Blowing Rock, Hot Tub, Big Views, NEW

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The cabin was well designed, And the decorating is spectacular! And the views are absolutely breathtaking.! The only things we were disappointed in is, there are no screens on the window and the water pressure is very low.

Unicorn Log Cabin - VIEWS & Hot Tub!

TaraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Exactly what my family needed to relax and recharge! The cabin was super clean at check in. It was also bigger than I expected and had plenty of space for us to spread out and relax. The views from the porch were breathtaking. Can't beat having coffee in the hot tub watching the sunrise. We enjoyed hiking, floating down the river and ended each night with s'mores around the campfire. The town was cute with lots of shops and great ice cream. Host was super responsive and gave detailed instructions prior to our visit. Quick to respond when I asked for local recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next year.

River Rock: stream side, 11 acres, waterfall

TrelisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
5 Stars! We stayed two nights at River Rock in Deep Gap, NC. It was pouring when we arrived, but the covered porch allowed us to still sit outside and enjoy the mountain air. The hot tub was perfect, especially with the rain coming down. The cabin is just far enough from town to feel peaceful and private, but close enough for a quick trip if you need anything. A great spot to relax—we’d definitely stay again.

"Chantilly Ridge" - A Romantic Retreat w/ Hot Tub

SheilaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had a great time at the beautiful cabin celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We loved sitting in the comfortable rocking chairs on the front porch watching the deer in the field across the street. The porch is so big that we were able to sit outside and listen to the rain. Tv and Wifi were great. The Pit Stop was a recommended restaurant that Rebecca had given and it was so good!! We had to ask Rebecca a question and she was QUICK to respond.

Open! Roads Clear! Mountain cabin escape w/HOT TUB

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lauren’s place was amazing! We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night and the kids loved the hot tub and ping pong table. Everything was clean and lots of chairs for the entire family. It is tucked back into the woods so it was quiet and peaceful. We also enjoyed watching several deer walk past a few times. I’m highly recommend Lauren’s cabin.

Stone’s Throw Cabin

CarolineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved staying at this Airbnb. The location was perfect for day trips to Grayson Highlands State Park, as well as to Sparta, Galax, etc. The house had lots of room to spread out. The kitchen and bathroom were stocked with everything we needed. The downstairs bed is extremely comfortable. The location/surroundings were beautiful -- and it was very quiet! We sat on the porch, listened to the river, watched the wildlife, and used the fire pit. A couple FYIs: Since there's no wifi in the Airbnb, I did want to mention that cell coverage is spotty. Also, the upstairs bedrooms have low ceilings, and one bedroom doesn't have a door (which wasn't a problem for us, but could be for other folks). Overall, we had an amazing trip weekend and are so glad we were able to stay at this location. Our host was very responsive and helpful. We will stay here again if we're in the area.

What a gem! Perfect little cabin perched up alongside a babbling brook. Exceeded our expectations. Had everything we needed and more. Bugs were not an issue at all. We spent most of our time on the back porch and down by the water at the fire pit. Comfy bed. Very clean. Great and friendly communication. We will be back!

It was a really really wonderful place to get away from everything and just be. I used this time to write music and the acoustics in the church were just incredible. The sounds of the waterfall are so relaxing and the porch is the perfect place to enjoy your meals. Can’t wait to be back and can’t recommend enough!!!

Our stay at Mark’s place was wonderful! We really enjoyed how peaceful and relaxing the cabin and setting was. My favorite thing about the cabin was how many different outdoor seating options there are, and the views from each area were beautiful! It was great for reading and relaxing. The area is very quiet as well. Everything was as described in the photos and description. The beds were comfy and the kitchen setup was great for cooking small meals each night. This cabin is truly a gem! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and the peaceful presence of local wildlife. Every amenity was thoughtfully provided — from firewood and starter logs to a well-stocked coffee setup — making it one of the most well-equipped places we’ve ever stayed. But what truly sets this stay apart is Nicole’s attention to detail. The personalized welcome basket and handwritten card were such a warm and unexpected touch that instantly made us feel at home. It’s clear she’s put so much care into creating a memorable experience for her guests. If you’re looking for comfort, scenery, and sincere hospitality, this is the place

We had a great stay! It's cute and cozy and had everything we needed. Courtney was very helpful and we enjoyed the online guidebook. The kitchen is well stocked but is small so best for one chef at a time. The couch wasn't the most comfortable but overall we had a wonderful time.
