This is really a very cozy and beautiful house, the house is in front of the canyon, the view is great, Edna Bosse and her husband took care of the house very clean and tidy, you can feel their careful maintenance of the house everywhere, if there is a chance, I hope to stay again in some summer.

Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We had a lovely stay here and it was all we could have asked for. You can see the sea from the hut the view was beautiful. The accommodation was warm and the host provided tea and snacks which went down a treat after the long drive. If we ever come back we would stay here again.

The cottage is cozy, peaceful, and set in a beautiful location, and Benthe was so kind and helpful. Wish I could have stayed more days! Highly recommended.

The cabin has got anything you might need and the spot is perfect, with a stunning view on the fjord, which is 2 meters from the windows. Johnny and Tor Erik are super hosts, always proactive; we even participated in a winetasting event in the wine cellar, they provided us with suggestions on what to do and showed us where to pick up cross country skis for free (there are tracks with lights very near to the cabin).

What can I say. A great place to stay. Magnificent views from the window overlooking the sea. The kitchen is super equipped with different spices, oils, etc. You felt right at home. A personal message in the guestbook that greets you with the super tasty bread. Would go right there again. On the last day, even saw the aurora lights and get a message directly from Rakel, who made us aware of this. Super nice host who really understands what good hospitality is. I can only recommend it to anyone looking for a home in the far north.

This house in a small village at the bottom of a fjord is very welcoming, the whole family felt very comfortable. The mountain on one side, the water of the fjord on the other, the setting is really great, and the place is quiet and relaxing. The village is located close to many walking spots (car recommended to discover the treasures of Senja), and there is a very nice beach a 10-minute walk away. Jorgen was, even from a distance, very attentive to us and made sure we had a good stay. Always responsive to answer our questions. We had a great week here, and saw some very nice northern lights. 🙂

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely unforgettable. We spent three nights here and were thrilled to witness the mesmerizing Northern Lights during our visit. The house has breathtaking views and a stunning, thoughtfully designed interior that made every moment feel special. Hanne went above and beyond by providing incredibly helpful information on everything—from the local weather updates to fantastic recommendations for nearby attractions and dining spots. Their support truly enhanced our overall experience. We highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the region while enjoying a comfortable and memorable stay.

Anette's place was the perfect place for our tour holidays for us. The apartment is in a great location, has a great view of the fjord and is only a few meters from the sea. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. We had enough room for the three of us. (Attention 1 room has no door) The kitchen is well equipped and you have a beautiful view from the dining table. Anette is very helpful, gave us good tips and was also waiting for us when we arrived late. We had a great time at Anette's place.

We loved staying in this beautiful house next to a stunning white sand beach with amazing views. Highly recommended.

This place is and will be fantastic. First of all, seeing Frank was very nice. He immediately makes you feel very welcome. He is hospitable and cheerful. The apartment is very cozy and nicely decorated. Clean, large windows, nice bed, good kitchen essentials and a wood-burning stove outside to light a fire. The views over the coast and the mountains are phenomenal and due to the rapidly changing light, you never get bored. It's a really restful place and it was a valuable ‘coming home’. In the selective section, I selected the "Place looks like in the photos" option, but it's not true, the place is better than the photos! It may be the most beautiful place we've been to so far!! Wonderful views from the living room window, both bedrooms, patio, garden and jacuzzy 🥹😍 We saw the light every night of our 3 pumpkin stay from the beach, which is next to the house. And when the sky was on the other side of the sky (not visible from our beach), it was enough to go to another beach for shortcuts, to the other end of the island (maybe 100 meters) A charming barbecue gazebo that is available to guests complete the image of this place as a small paradise on a land perfect for a getaway. The owners are super nice and very helpful! We can't get into this place and its hosts! 🤗 WE RECOMMEND WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!
