It is a short distance to the trail that goes up to the mountain. Pila pub and Skagi (restaurant) are within walking distance, yet the house is shielded There are four sleeping places, a sleeping alcove (i.e. with a curtain, not door) with a double bed, a sleeping alcove with a bed for two children or one adult, and a bed in the loft room. By agreement, it is possible to use a kayak for two people

Newly renovated dock with beautiful sea view on the fairytale island of Senja. The jetty is originally from former Holmenvær, and was moved to the mainland in the 50s. It's now newly renovated. The jetty is a perfect starting point for nature experiences. Located close to nature, whatever the season, there is the possibility of great trips in, for example, Kaperdalen, Strytind or Kvænan. Also short distance to Ånderdalen National Park. Experiences of the northern lights are possible during the winter season.

If you wish is to experience the midnight sun or northern lights, see the sea or mountains, go skiing or mountain shoes - create memories for life at this unique and family-friendly place in the beautiful fishing village of Torsken. The house offers many hiking experiences right outside the door, or as a base to see all the adventure island Senja has to offer. Grocery store and a lovely restaurant within walking distance from the house, same with pub on the pier on weekends.

Sommarøya is a small village 1 hour outside Tromsø. There is a bus twice a day on weekdays, during the weekend a bus runs Sunday evening. There is good parking for the rental car. In addition to listed rooms, the house has a room with a double sofa bed. This room is adjacent to one of the bedrooms. There are also a room with a singel bed. Animals are allowed at request.
