Vacation rentals with beach access in Trafaria

Very attentive, easy communication

We arrived at midnight and had no issues with getting keys and access to the property and Parking outside no problem, was close to plenty of restaurants and close to main centre and beeches. Would recommend

We stayed in Costa da Caparica for over a month, from December to January, and loved every moment. The weather was mostly sunny, and the views from the apartment were incredible - mountains on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Watching the sunrise in the morning and the surfers catching waves at sunset, all from the window with a glass of wine in hand, was unforgettable. The apartment had everything we needed to feel at home, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He gave us great tips on visiting places and was always there to help when we needed anything. The only thing to keep in mind is that on Friday and Sunday nights, we heard music from a nearby club. If you’re a light sleeper, earplugs might be a good idea. We had a great time here and would love to come back someday.

We really like the place for our month-long stay! The location of the property is its strong point, very close to the beach of Carcavelos, to restaurants, with nearby shops as well. The hosts are very polite, friendly and helpful. We recommend the site!

The place is awesome. The view is beautiful and the apartment felt bigger than on the photos. We felt really good and could watch the waves all day to time the surf with the good tide and less people. It was perfect to go walk around and eat some sushis , pizza or steak just around the place. I will go back again when I’m hitting Caparica

Well, first I start by talking about David's extreme friendliness, he was a super welcoming person, gave us great advice and was always ready to help us, very attentive and helpful, in relation to David's house, the house is very beautiful, it is super super welcoming, we felt very good and super comfortable, it has an incredibly beautiful view and is close to the beach, it was a wonderful stay, I would definitely repeat it! 🥰🥰

We stayed for 2 months the apartment was perfect in its location and facilities, including regular cleaning and safe parking for our car. However at this time of year it can be cold and there were only some small electric heaters in the apartment. But Luis is a very good host, he met us with food and wine on the first night and continued to check on us throughout our stay. He went out of his way to find me a swimming pool nearby, to give us some extras we needed, and his recommendations for places to eat were fantastic, we tried them all and he brought us out the last night! Thank you Luis!

Don't think twice- book this place! Dalila's place is absolutely stunning inside and out. The kitchen is adorable and stocked with all the tools you need, the entire home was so clean, and you just honestly cannot beat the views. The weather was super windy and rainy during our stay, but that just made cozying up inside feel even better. Lovely little cafe just up the road, groceries nearby, and an amazing seafood restaurant that Dalila was able to get us a reservation at (even when I asked way too last minute, lol). We will remember this romantic little getaway forever!

Ralph is a very attentive and personable host who communicated well throughout our stay with great recommendations for the local area. The house itself is simple and was perfect for what we were looking for, no frills but good amenities and very well located. Praia das macas is a very beautiful place, we could have stayed much longer + will be back! If you are looking for a totally anonymous and self contained Airbnb experience then this probably isn’t for you as Ralph (host) is more present than we are typically used to with Airbnb - the check in is in person rather than keyless and so on. However, with the recommendations, provided maps and detail about the town it was a very welcome addition to have an English speaking host who actively wanted to provide a good experience. If you are considering this area - go! One of the best places we have ever visited as a couple and all of the locals were extremely friendly.

We had a great stay! The house is simple, but very welcoming, full of charm and with an environment that made us feel right at home. Mrs. Isabel was always extremely friendly and always available, for anything. He immediately responded to all of our questions and resolved any situation with speed and good disposition. We had a wonderful 5 days in Sesimbra in October. The apartment is in a great location just a short walk to town and the beach. The apartment itself is clean and has a great veranda + pool with view. We were forecast rain and tropical storms whilst we were there and though a bit changeable we had some lovely sunny days and were able to hang out in the pool. We had a trip to the castle, Cabot Especiale and to see the Dinosaur foot prints. We especially enjoyed sampling the delicious food at the many restaurants and having a cocktail or two! The locals are super friendly and it was fun watching the surfers. During our stay there was a tropical storm and Jorge checked in on us and made sure we were aware of the alert and we're ok. We would love to come back some time. Thank you Jorge

We had a lovely stay. Joao is very friendly and welcoming. Everything is as advertised and it's a show every day to open the door of the house to the ocean. Surf lessons in front of the house, very good restaurant nearby. I recommend her house.

It was a very cozy and spacious place. Even though it was chilly outside, the apartment had heating and was very warm. The host greeted us kindly, gave us all the necessary recommendations, and explained how to park in the underground garage. There’s a supermarket near the building where you can buy everything you need. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach the coast with beautiful views, and you can get to the city center on foot in about 20 minutes. We really enjoyed our stay.

Staying at Theresa and August’s place in Parede was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The apartment is even more beautiful than the photos – bright, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated with so many charming touches that show how much care they’ve put into the space. Theresa and August were the perfect hosts – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful and quiet, yet just a short walk to the beach, local cafes, and the train to Lisbon or Cascais. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise, having coffee on the sunny terrace, and taking evening strolls along the coast – it was everything we hoped for and more. We honestly didn’t want to leave. Thank you, Theresa and August, for sharing your beautiful home and making final week living in Portugal so great.

The place is beautiful! The spectacular sunsets, beautiful walks in the area and the trips to Sesimbra were so great. I can only rave about how incredible this area is. The property offers a very nice view in a quiet location. Shopping and great restaurants are also nearby. Lisbon is about 40 minutes by car on a pleasant route. Many stunning beaches are minutes away. Elisette was a wonderful hostess. She responded super quickly to all concerns and always helped, no matter how small the problem was. Your recommendations are also great. I can only recommend a stay at this property to everyone, it is definitely worth a visit! ☀️🐚

This was our second time staying in sesimbra, it's a beautiful town, beautiful. beach and lots of lovely local restaurants. we were delighted with the apartment, spacious bedrooms, and living area. The pool is super and the games room a great asset. Only small criticism is the kitchen would benefit from better/fresh cleaning products, the sponges were old/used sweeping brush wasn't great, and the hoover was low performing. We like to keep the house clean each day. Everything else about the apartment is super, lots of towels, big tv, great wifi. We would recommend!

Rossana is a great host. Very easy to communicate with and very welcoming. The apartment is well-located and makes you feel at home. The apartment has everything for a pleasant stay. Just a few minutes to the beachfront of Caparica, a supermarket and an excellent cafe around the corner.

Small but nice flat, with lovely ocean view and soundscape. Sixties-vibe building of yesteryear, intended for holidays, so nice to find an Airbnb that does not disturb the housing market in a city. José is super accessible and helpful. Everything is neat and available, simple but good.

Absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, spacious and bright apartment right on the beach of Praia da California. The apartment was immaculately clean and the kitchen is still brand new. The highlight of course is being right on the beach and waking up and falling asleep every day to the sound of the waves crashing on to the shore. The ocean views are impeccable! It also only takes about a 2minute walk down the stairs to get to the beach. I went there in October and the beach was pretty much empty, weather still pretty warm & even the ocean was warm enough to swim in every day. You can tell the apartment is looked after very well by its owner, David and is also great for a longer stay. You have all cooking utensils and a washing machine to really make your stay comfortable. Overall, an amazing place to stay and David is an absolute please to communicate with and you can tell he really cares for his guests and the apartment. I hope to be back soon! Highly recommended!
