Marinas home was just stunning. In the heart of the city and walking distance from all the heritage buildings. Plus the home appliances made a job more easier. In addition she kept a lot of things like pasta, bread, oils, butter, Nutella, everything was so useful for us. It felt like home away from home. We stayed here for three nights and I would recommend everyone who is coming to Palermo to stay at her place as it’s very close to all the sites and is a beautiful cute little home.

We had a long day of travel before our arrival. They were super flexible with our check in time and it was lovely to have snacks, water and breakfast foods all awaiting us, especially the fresh picked oranges from their trees! Great location, rural and private feeling but just a short drive to see everything in the area, absolutely recommend!

Beautiful hosts who were so helpful. The villa was beautiful and felt so authentically Sicilian. Very comfortable, roomy and clean. Decorated beautifully with gorgeous art everywhere.

Great place, certainly designed to enjoy in hotter weather so outside areas can be enjoyed and not put away with the wind as was the case with us! Unfortunately came on a stormy weekend beyond everyones control. Recommend hiring a car if staying with Maia, only 15 min walk from train station but area isn’t particularly pedestrian friendly and trains arent too often/didnt run past 9pm. But none of this the hosts fault, an oversight by myself. Thanks for having us, seeing the ocean from the bedroom was definitely a highlight!

The stay with Dario, was our last apartment in Sicily. The location is perfect to visit Palermo, Monreale and Mondello beach. The apartment is new and wonderfully large. There were two of us, but there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms so very suitable for four people. In addition to the apartment being beautiful, the most important thing to say is: the tremendous hospitality of Dario and his wife. Upon arrival, there were brioche ready for us, halfway through we got a nice wine from the region and at our farewell delicious sandwiches for breakfast….. and it's not even about what we got, it's much more about the kindness and the willingness to help, give tips and advice. Dario was WONDERFUL and felt familiar like we were friends. I can write much more beautiful and good, e.g. about how neat and clean and new it was... but I would say: experience it for yourself. The Adil’s apartment is like on the photos. The two principal rooms are big. One with 3 beds and the other one with 2 beds. The third room don’t have windows and a double bed. The kitchen is small, but enough for preparing a quick lunch or a breakfast. It is really near Central Station, so it’s very easy to arrive by train from the airport. Adil answers you quickly when you have questions and always try to help you.

We are traveling as a party of 4: an elderly couple, an adult couple and a 5-year-old child, and without a car, only by public transport. The accommodation is a large family apartment on the second floor. The windows are well soundproofed, so we're not bothered by street noise. The kitchen is very well equipped. The neighborhood isn't very interesting, but it's a 15-minute walk to Porta Nueva and the Normands Palace, and a 15-minute walk to a train station. The central station is a 30-minute bus ride away. Sergio and his wife were very welcoming and friendly. In short, we recommend this accommodation.

Highly recommend staying here! We stayed for a week and it was a great base to enjoy Palermo from. The kitchen is well equipped and the balcony is great. I was working during the stay and the WiFi was very reliable. Michele was a great host and we would stay here if we were in Palermo again.

Alessandro was a great host. Always very responsive and even came late one evening when we had trouble with the lock. A very spacious flat. It was the only one on the floor so had lots of balconies, windows and light. It is within walking distance of all the sights in Palermo and lots of great restaurants. The flat was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Such a cute and quiet place to get away from the city just what we needed! Tania was so nice and we were able to hang out in the garden, pick the fig trees, have eggs from her chickens! Just incredible experience!

The apartment is located in the best Palermo’s area, everything reachable by foot and amazing bars and restaurants few minutes walking distance. The apartment is perfect for 2-4 people, everything you need is inside and it is super cozy and beautiful. On top of it, Enrico is a very helpful and kind host. I highly recommend this place.

This place was wonderful. It was homey and spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also perfectly located for visiting the historic center. I loved the wooden floors and marble staircases. For the size, it was an incredible value. For summer, there is air-conditioning. On the downside, the bathrooms and kitchen hadn't been updated. However, the bathtub on the second floor was huge and worth luxuriating in. The kitchen was tiny, but we didn't use it. We might have if the host had supplied a coffee maker and some coffee, which was done in the other apartments in Sicily we rented. Because we had trouble finding a nearby market, so we had breakfast in a café on the main street. A list of nearby services would have been welcome. Finally, as others have noted, there is some noise from the bar downstairs, especially on the weekend--even in March. We didn't mind it, but I imagine that in summer with windows open, it might be a problem. I would rent here again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Lilli's house was just perfect....Lilli organized everything well...Directions... reception by Giovanni ....small provisions....communication also great with her....responds immediately....the house is a small gem and the garden with the many exotic trees, the view of the mountains, the great pool, the tranquility, just wonderful. Giovanni is the good soul of the estate and always has a tip in stock...the surroundings are great, especially we liked the ornate Parrini. Thanks Lilli for the super hospitality! We had a wonderful time, and loved your pool. Hope to come back sometime....

We had a thoroughly enjoyable week and although we had a couple of problems they were addressed quickly. The location is beautiful, peaceful and private. The space was a perfect size for our family of four and we could have managed another two people easily. The pool was a bit cold in October but that was somewhat to be expected - the sea is warmer though. The house is finished to a very high standard. Whilst the drive to the property isn't for the feint hearted, it's worth it when you get there. There is a good but small supermarket about 3km away on the main road. Local highlights include Scopello which has a number of nice restaurants and a small private beach (where Oceans 12 was filmed). We enjoyed hiking in the nature reserve which is ~5km away and had nice secluded beaches to swim off (head further than the first beach). Further afield the salt pans in Trapani are good and we enjoyed a food tour of Balastrate and an olive oil/wine tour of the Augustali farm (through AirBnB)

Stunning Airbnb with spectacular views overlooking Scopello. The house is even nicer than the pictures. Beautiful pool, lovely sun porch on second floor, and hot tub was great for the cool early April nights. Sara, the host, was incredibly responsive and helpful with recommendations. The house was in a very quiet, peaceful hamlet outside Scopello. It is tucked away down a gravel road, so it was very helpful to have Sara meet us near town and drive the last stretch to the house. We hope to return!

We lived in this beautiful villa for a month working remote. We loved everything in this house; the environment in the countryside but still close to nearby villages and beach, privacy, views and the house itself with everything you could hope for, and the garden. The house was very clean and tidy and it really felt like home. Communication was always perfect. We recommend 100%!

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful villa! The property is stunning, with a great pool, breathtaking views, and plenty of outdoor seating areas. The house is spacious and well stocked with everything we needed. It felt more like staying in a much-loved family holiday home than a rental. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The views from the villa were absolutely stunning. We felt right at home and enjoyed making dinner and sitting outside on the patio. Pietro was so welcoming and even drove us to the grocery store so we could stock up on essentials. Would highly recommend anyone looking to stay in Palermo to stay here. Private, comfortable, and beautiful. If you are able to rent a car, that is recommended. Note, an international driving permit (IDP) is required and needs to be obtained prior to renting a car.

This place is located in an out of the way road and is very calm. It has the necessary equipments, the exterior is very nice and the pool is just wonderful

We loved staying at Roberto's place - he's a great host! We appreciated the pristine pool area (with a lovely, separate, bathroom) and the outdoor seating areas. We travelled with our 1.5 year old daughter and teenage sons - both the place, outdoor area and distance to the beach (easy to walk with a stroller!) turned out to be perfect for us. We really enjoyed our week and would come back any day!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Villa Ortensia for 5 days and I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough! Serena’s house and property were nothing short of magical and she was extremely responsive and gracious. The natural beauty all around the property, beach access, and proximity to Cafalu were our top 3 standouts. You can really tell Serena loves this property and is excited to share it with guests. Run don’t walk- this place is a must stay! Thank you Serena for hosting us!
