Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Torquay

Good place to stay for friends, rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy. Lots of space for hanging out in the living area and kitchen, and the location is pretty decent with the station being in walking distance.

Great communication from before I booked it as I had a few questions. Very accommodating with my requests and clear instructions. A home from home. A lovely welcome pack for when we arrived. Spotlessly clean. Extremely comfortable beds. A lovely hot shower with some good power to it. Had absolutely everything we needed including toilet paper, washing up liquid and towels provided which is very rare in a caravan. Even had a coffee machine with a selection of different coffee pods. Lots to do on the site and access to the neighbouring site too. Also only a 10 minute drive to Torquay so plenty to do. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again. Excellent communication and always accessible. Caravan was positioned really well, it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle from the front. Easy to find, with host providing good additional information about the area. Lovely area to explore both on foot or by car. Good facilities on site and useful site staff. We had a great time.

Stunning setting, beautiful grounds and the perfect break for a young family. Our kids loved the pool and the games room, very well situated for trips to Totnes and Dartmouth. Sheila and Richard were very welcoming and responsive hosts - we had a great time, highly recommend the space and the hosts!

We loved our stay at Woodside. Great location, well equipped apartment. Tennis and the pool were brilliant. Perfect for families. The fishing lake needs some maintenance before it can be used as it is full of weed which was our only negative.

Donna is nice hospital towards her guest available for any concerns to resolve. Place is near to Devon so better to plan places like Becky’s fall Trago Mills town near newton abbot, Salcombe, Torpoint Dartmoor national park. I place is good for family of 3 or 4 Kitchen is small but well equipped organised , I loved the body wash and hand wash Thank you Archie

A beautiful property and excellent value. A self-contained annex to a family home, this is a great apartment with amazing views across the Devonshire countryside. We were only there for a night but would definitely return for a longer stay. The bed was super comfy and the living area was a spacious and well equipped. Beth was very helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed.

We were delighted by everything the apartment had to offer and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had an amazing few days at Caroline’s caravan and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a holiday with lots to do near by. The caravan itself was clean and had all of the amenities needed. The location was excellent as it was a stones throw from the swimming pool which pleased our oldest immensely! Caroline herself was super communicative and was easily reachable when we needed her. A fantastic stay and we will definitely be back!

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! The location was within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go. Having off-street parking is an absolute bonus in Exeter, and having room for 2 cars was fantastic. The proeprty has been modernised, itwas clean with good natural light and was excellent value. If we require accommodation in Exeter again, we would be trying to book here again

We had such a lovely holiday, the park is in an ideal location with lovely facilities, our children loved the pool! The caravan was beautiful, clean and spacious and such great value for money! Great communication throughout as well, thank you.

Amazing as always! So much to do with our daughter and we felt right at home as we did last year. Abi as always is an amazing host and extremely responsive. The lodge was warm and felt just like home. The beach, activities and restaurants were great. Thanks you Abi 😄

Lovely stay in stunning Ladram Bay. Beautiful walks in the area and close to a picture perfect Devon village with a pub and tea rooms.

It was a fantastic cottage, perfect for a family of four. Excellent location to visit Darmouth, Salcombe, Brixham and many other beautiful places in South Devon. It was great to be able to use the facilities at the golf club and the surroundings were stunning.

We loved staying at Elize and her families house. The place was spotless and with a great open plan living and outdoor space which worked well with our young family. We stayed for 1 week in mid August with our two children who are 1 & 4, as we were visiting family in the area. There is so much to do for young ones - Darts farm, Greendale Farm, Donkey Sanctuary, Ocean softplay, Exmouth beach, Emporium Arcades. We used the awesome BBQ & hot tub. An added bonus in the house was a safety gate from the kitchen/living room to the rest of the house, otherwise this would have been a nightmare! We had to take our own cot and highchair and plastic plates/cutlery etc so it wasn't kitted out for young kids. Saying that it was perfectly safe and they loved it! The only 1 negative would be that the top two bedrooms got very hot, and there weren't any fans even though they were listed on Airbnb. If we'd have known we would have taken our own. But this is very minor and we would happily stay again.

What can I say, this is the perfect location for a quiet peaceful stay. Everything worked for us. We self catered as the local pub is a drive away and we had no willing volunteers! There is an excellent farm shop (Quicke’s) just along the main road towards Exeter. Note it doesn’t open on Saturday and Sunday so shop accordingly. Nikki told us about the house and grounds, which are really worth a wander as it is a privilege so admire all the beautiful trees and shrubs. You must visit this wonderful property. Thank you Nikki, my family from Canada and Hartlepool really enjoyed their stay, while we caught up after too long apart.
