Staying at Oscar's house was a perfect experience from start to finish! He was at the house upon our arrival and walked us through showing us how things worked, etc... He and his mom stayed next door the whole time and were helpful but not at all intrusive. They even shared some of the fresh fish that his mom caught with us which we cooked for one of our dinners at home one night! He also let us use his beach chairs and umbrellas, which was very helpful. The house was exactly as described and well stocked. I am VERY picky in terms of cleanliness, and it was very clean! Having two showers, toilet stalls, and bathroom sinks was very helpful for our family of 6. We also appreciated the outdoor shower to rinse the sand off. Town and several great restaurants were an easy 10 minute walk down the beach. We felt very safe in Samara, but we did bring in everything off the porch at night like Oscar recommended. I would absolutely rent this house again in a heart beat. We loved it here!!!

This AirBnB checked all the boxes for an extended comfortable stay. A/c, 2 br well equipped kitchen, laundry. We stayed there for 2 months, working remotely from there. It is a 5-7 min walk to the far end of Samara beach where all the tours leave and you can see a picture perfect sunset every day! There were some minor hiccups with Internet first 2wks as we had to stay connected all day for work. However, owners were very responsive and worked with Internet company to get it resolved. Worked great after that! Location itself is about 2.2 km from Samara town where most restaurants and stores are. Typically, a 30-40min walk on the beach. After the first few days, we did not miss going into town...our corner of beach was perfect! Added bonus, howler monkeys liked the trees around. There is a grocery store with most essentials and a nice local Soda short walk away. I bought a bicycle during my stay and was perfect for quick trips to town and to get to the surf spot in about 10min

Every detail is set up for comfort, and we especially loved dining outdoors in the well-equipped outdoor kitchen, which perfectly complements the chef’s kitchen inside. The location couldn’t be better—just two minutes from zip-lining and Samara Beach, and three minutes from town, where you’ll find supermarkets, fantastic restaurants, and great shopping. On top of all that, our host, Johanna, went above and beyond before, during, and after our stay, making the entire trip seamless and stress-free. Our only regret? Not staying longer!
