The lodge is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and a serene atmosphere. The rooms are not only spacious but also incredibly comfortable and tastefully decorated. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations for local attractions. The breakfast was not only delicious but also varied and plentiful. We especially enjoyed the fresh, locally sourced ingredients and the homemade sourdough bread. Thank you for everything.

Aloha from Hawaii!. We had a most incredible experience at Slopeside, with invaluable assistance from the wonderful staff. Lianne and Sam: a sincere thank you for the local knowledge and hospitality. Reo and Aki (55 Powders Rental): the snowboarding equipment was top notch and we put it to good use on the slopes. Reo's online snowboarding videos are also great! Finally, our snowboarding instructor Taki was excellent and patient with both of our kids. They will never forget their first snowboarding trip and will miss their snowman and igloo.

Beautiful stay. Yusan and his partner are excellent hosts. Room was comfy. Had the shared onsen to myself every afternoon. 10 minute walk to Kanko gondola. 20 mins walk to Akakura restaurants. It’s a tight walk between walls of snow and road. Can be dodgy. Yusan was very helpful with lifts in the van. To the lifts in the morning and dinner in the evenings. Felt very looked after 😊

wir waren wirklich nur zum Übernachten da, und das hat perfekt geklappt. DAs haus liegt praktisch am Meer, es ist eine Strasse dazwischen und auch der Zug ist in der Nähe, stört überhaupt nicht. du musst es gewohnt sein auf harten Boden zu schlafen, den es sind Futons. Für uns was es gewollt und ok. Danke für die nette Gastfreundschaft lieber Koichi.

Wir fühlten uns bei Naomi und Nori sehr wohl. Sie waren beide super freundlich. Das Zimmer und die ganze Lodge war so gemütlich, dass wir uns gleich wohl gefühlt haben. Das Zimmer im japanischen Stil war schön, sauber und mit einem Blick auf die Berge. Der Onsen war angenehm und erholsam. Wir haben uns gut entspannen können. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Wäre Japan nicht so weit weg von unserer Heimat würden wir jedes Jahr wieder kommen. Der nette Pudel Pudding hat das ganze noch süßer gemacht. Nori war so lieb und hat uns am Bahnhof abgeholt. Wir hatten Glück und konnten die Kirschblüte im Schnee erleben.

Sasa made our stay incredible. He made getting to myoko easy. he picked us up from the train station. His service goes the extra mile, he dropped off and picked us up from the resorts close by. he even dropped us into town for dinner. Even though his place is an easy walk into town. His place feels like home with the atmosphere, beautiful creations and a lodge in the forest. A winter wonderland. A home cooked meal by Sasa by the fire at night and breakfast in the morning. We are blown away by this experience and this lodge and would return again in a heartbeat. Thank you Guest House Bunk for making Myoko the best experience in by staying here!!!!

love this place as it's right on the slope for skiing. lovely family run hotel with a lot of friendly guests who had long term relationship with the host. you can tell that the host are really nice and organized events such as mochi making and tasting while I was there. highly recommend for ski in ski out experience and nice combination with cultural experience as well. oh, not to forget, the dinner prepared were really delicious!
