Vacation rentals with breakfast in Tohoku Region

Einer meiner schönsten Aufenthalte in Japan. Ein tolles Zimmer und die nettesten Gastgeber die man sich vorstellen kann. Auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es wurde sogar auf meine vegetarische Ernährung Rücksicht genommen 😀

元保育施設の建物は手入れの行き届いた綺麗な施設で、地元の食材を使った海鮮料理を一日二食楽しみました。 滞在時（２０２２年８月）はコロナ禍の影響もあり一組のみの宿泊で貸し切りでした。滞在中は地元の方が食事の用意や掃除をしてくれます。チェックインからチェックアウトまで全てのやり取りがスムーズでした。寝具や風呂の設備はどれも快適。 滞在中は周辺の漁港や海岸を散策、みちのく潮風トレイルを歩いて楽しみました。海辺で静かに過ごしたい方におすすめです。

I have to say that this is the highlight of this trip in Japan. Mitsuru san friendly welcomed me even I arrived early in the morning. He introduced his house and how he enjoyed his life living in country side. After some discussion, we decided to go somewhere deep inside the mountain that foregine travellers could hardly found. We had a delicious lunch and went to take a bath in an onsen that a solo traveller relying on pulic transport like me can never reach. What really inspires me is our conversation during the drive in his car which was so fruitful and informative （ I can only speak poor Japanese, but Mitsuru san would listen and gradually explain to me by his fluent English), which helps me to understand more in local life and culture. I have to express my deepest gratitude to Mitsue san（Mitsuru san's wife) for making a fascinating dinner using local food for me. I would greatly recommend here to travellers seeking for a closer experience in Japan countryside lifestyle !

Nyok Peng and Mr Kitayama were great hosts and made us feel at home in their lovely place. Special shoutout to the delicious breakfasts Nyok Peng prepared for us during our stay! Thank you for everything once again!

Koh was an amazing host. He was very helpful with how to best use the house. The house was very clean and comfortable!

Taka-san is one of the nicest hosts I've ever met. He gave me lots of recommendations for things to do around and thanks to him I was able to visit the small islands of Matsushima. He is a super friendly person, it was like staying at an old friend's house. His house is amazing, very comfortable with a super nice view of the port in the upstairs bedroom. There is a bus to come and go around (access to Tagajo and Shiogama), the system is a bit tricky to understand but I took it a couple of times and it's working fine 👍 I could not recommend his Airbnb enough!

Pasé una noche en este alojamiento. Todo perfecto; muy limpio y la habitación muy cómoda. Bien ubicado, aunque se necesita coche para poder acceder fácilmente. La anfitriona es muy simpática y me ofreció su ayuda en lo que necesitase. Se agradece mucho poder elegir la hora del desayuno, que además estuvo muy rico.

もともとコスパ最強な上に朝食まで用意して頂き最高でした。 部屋も家族で一室使えてくつろぐ事ができました。 またぜひ利用させて頂きたいです。 ありがとうございました。

とてもきれいはお部屋でした。 気持ちよく滞在しました。 ただ、このあたりの冬は思った以上に寒かったです。

Great apartment, but not much at all going on in this part of Niigata. Maybe more so in the summer? Anyways, lovely apartment. Very comfortable. Just probably better for someone w a car.

We had a very pleasant stay with Yakuso. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating towards our ignorance when it came to Japanese food. The accommodation is simple, but has everything you need, similar to a Ryokan, yet more simple. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a Japanese experience.

Yumi and Brad have turned a tired hotel into a great little place that offers Western style service while maintaining the charm of small mountain village family inn. Room was Japanese style with a big queen size bed. Could easily sleep 5 people making the value very good. Breakfast was simple but filling. Great little bar downstairs with live music 3 nights a week. The best part of Yumi's place is the location. Right smack in the center of town. Not a lot to do, but it's a great place for a few days. Oh. And the skiing is world class! Just a short walk to the people mover and the hill is yours. Hit the hot spring baths around town after a ski and you will know why Japan is so magical! I'll be back!

Yoshi and Seongmi were so friendly and had great recommendations for the area. The room was really comfy and we had everything we needed for our stay.

Michiko and Miho's place is wonderful. it's essentially a snowboarding hostel run by the family, and has all the charm you could ask for. every breakfast and dinner is prepared, and is AMAZING. everyone gathers in the cafeteria, and after all the guests are fed, the family and staff all eat together. it all feels extremely genuine and unique, especially because it's primarily Japanese guests who stay there. they even provided rental gear, and arranged a ride to nozawa with a resident snowboarding instructor. I'd recommend this stay to anyone looking for a unique and wholesome excursion out of the major cities.

We happened to be the first visitors for this snow season. It was a comfy stay with breakfast; 3-min drive to Madarao ski resort; highly recommend

A place where you can slow down…the space was warm, cozy, clean and friendly . The area was small and yet vast with mountains all around and apple orchards for days. This place makes you feel alive and yet so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for the stay and all the wealth of knowledge and care for making my stay feel like home :) I will be back again :) and recommend to those who want to slow down :)

今回初めて利用させていただきましたが、チェックインまでのやり取りも返事が早く柔軟に対応いただきました。 当日も想定よりも早く宿に到着しましたが、すぐ部屋に案内していただき嬉しかったです。 共有スペースに漫画スペースなどありお子さんがいても楽しめると思います。 宿の方は気さくに話しかけていだだけてアットホームな雰囲気も感じれて良い旅行の思い出を作ることができました。 また宮城 蔵王を訪問する際は利用させていただきたいと思います。 お世話になりました。
