There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

Built in 1860 for workers at the nearby cotton mill, this home has many period and original features. We have a self contained newly refurbished open plan guest suite with separate entrance. The interior consists of a Kitchen, Bedroom, Lounge & Bathroom area, it has electric heating in the bathroom & a Multi Fuel Burning Stove.

Nobel Nook

Nobel Nook is named as such due to the history of the property. Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson (Nobel Peace Prize winner) once resided here. The property has been sensitively restored over the years with its 1853 heritage in mind. stone floors, high ceilings and decorative features remain. The basement apartment style has followed suit and has undergone a full renovation
