if I told you that this cottage is remarkably clean. if I tell you that there is no shortage of equipment. if I tell you that the bedding is impeccable. if I tell you that the owners are as friendly as they are responsive. If I tell you that the sea is less than 500 m from the cottage. If I tell you......... anyway, I'll stop my review there, I'm not sure you'll believe me. One thing is certain, I'd go back.

The old cottage has been nicely renovated, respecting the authenticity. The view of the waterfalls from the kitchen and garden is impressive. The beautiful veranda is a lovely space to relax with a coffee or a glass. You lack nothing in the cottage: you will find everything you need, and much more! The beds are fantastic, we slept wonderfully. It was also nice that you were allowed to walk on the private domain in the garden. Thibaud was always very responsive. He gave interesting tips to explore the area. We had fantastic weather during our stay, and made beautiful cycling tours along the coast with our e-bikes. We also visited sites due to D-Day (D-Day Experience at Dead Man's Corner and the Airborne Museum in Saint-Mère Eglise). If we ever look for accommodation in this neighborhood again, then we will definitely come back to Thibaud's unique cottage.

Spacious, clean and functional. Close to beautiful places to visit. Catherine is a very responsive and friendly host. We had a lovely stay.

Anyone who has used Airbnb for many years knows how much the details that made the difference have long since disappeared. Hélène and Julien are among these exceptions with, on the one hand, a home that has been thought out to be as functional as it is charming. The surrounding calm is a big part of it and the place must be even more pleasant in the spring and summer (stay in mid-November). The kitchen, particularly well thought out and extremely well equipped, is a pleasure for those who like to take time to cook a little. Absolutely nothing was missing during our stay. The wood stove (prepared for our arrival) filled our evenings with warmth and softness conducive to good cocooning after long walks by the sea. Finally, the typically Norman welcome gifts delighted us. A wonderful place for a getaway for two, wonderfully located equidistant from St Vaast and Barfleur, We highly recommend it!
