We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located right on the lakeshore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

Awesome place to stay! Thought Kreuzlingen is a little removed from Zurich or Lucerne, but the train is enjoyable and this house is worth it. Germany is a short bus ride or walk away, it was fun to experience this part of the country. We ran in to Mario several times walking, he is especially friendly and accommodating.

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. It is very comfortable, decorated with love and great taste. Everything is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week-long stay as a small family. Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. Is an unforgettable experience for all of us. We live in a city, having cows just outside the house is so special experience.

I was extremely happy and satisfied with the place. For parking matters, ask in advance, you can purchase a full-time parking permit for the blue zone in the municipality, 3 minutes walk away. I would check in with Elisabeth again anytime. TOP

SIlvia and René were amazing hosts. We arrived early on an international flight and they were able to check us in early and even picked up my two daughters and me at the train station. It was above and beyond :-) The attic apartment was in a beautiful area in town and we were able to look out over nearby hills, and beautiful neighborhood gardens. We cooked, slept and relaxed well here and there was a nice Coop to shop at just a few minutes walk down the street. We had a great, peaceful stay here. I would absolutely come again next time I'm in this area of Switzerland.

Martin is a beautiful host, and his communication is great. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and he filled it with nice treats for breakfast. His communication was always helpful and made everything easy. I really enjoyed my stay.

We have been going to Sibylle for 4 years and every time we are super comfortable and satisfied with her. It has everything you need and if something is missing, Sibylle is available at any time and very helpful. Thanks a lot! See you soon!

the house was fantastic, beautiful farm house with traditional Swiss decor. the lift was amazing for us with 2 people in wheelchairs, it made things a lot easier.

The kitchen was very well organized, and the whole space truly felt like home. Located in the heart of a lovely neighborhood, with a supermarket just down the lane, it was very convenient. The garden outside was a highlight—we spent quality time there, enjoying tea and the peaceful view. Emir is a fantastic host: kind, respectful, and always ready to help. My family loved the stay, and I would love to come back to Emir’s house again!

We felt right at home from the beginning. Fresh linens + towels, so like at home. Without a car there is bad, it is bad because you are there for hiking.

A nice, likeable hostess. Greeted us all directly in person. The accommodation (house) is very cozy, equipped with everything. We felt right at home and would have liked to have stayed longer. ( 4 days ) We would like to come in winter and use this beautiful fireplace in the living room. We say THANK YOU for a lovely weekend getaway.

Large apartment that is well furnished with a kitchen, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The neighbourhood is also very quiet - all we could hear were birds chirping. We also appreciated the clear instructions given by Raphael and Dianna. Overall, this is a perfect place to stay if you want to explore the Appenzell region!
