Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Thurgau

Slim pickings in this area so we were happy to find Mai and Thomas's place near Frauenfeld so we could be near to family we were visiting. All worked quite well and they were helpful in accommodating us six and a baby, including providing a crib. There are two bedroom areas with a queen and a twin in each, so three sleep in each room. Kitchen is small but fairly well-stocked. Dining room is ample with a large table. Single bathroom with barrier-free shower so water gets nearly all over the bathroom when you shower. Bath was well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc. All in all it was a very good stay. Thanks!

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home. It is very comfortable, decorated with love and great taste. Everything is very clean, and has everything we needed for our week-long stay as a small family. Thank you for your warm welcome, for the fresh eggs from your chicken coop. A lovingly furnished apartment with wonderful views of Lake Constance. Ulrich and his wife are super nice and helpful at all times. We had a great time and would book again anytime. The apartment has everything you need and is in a quiet, idyllic location.

We've spent 5 nights in Nicole's house with our friends, 4 couples alltogether. It is a huge house, there are rooms everywhere. It reminded us the house from "Home Alone" :) We really liked it. Though the guests must clean the house before they leave - everything was clean, nice and comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of accessories which we appreciated a lot as we love to cook. They have everything you would need for a great vacation, we especially liked the premium furniture, grill and cooking equipment and the large fridge. You can also find gorgeous surrounding, fields, forests, ruins and obviously cows and goats around the house. Ideal to have some new animal friends :) The only strange thing was that the house seems to be Nicole's family home which they rent out for the summer so they have their stuff in the cabinets, images on the wall. If you are used to stay in apartments, it can be unusual for the first time. Anyway, it was a great experience, thanks Nicole for having us!

The location where the cottage is located is really nice! You have a great view of the Säntis and can start hiking directly from the accommodation. The place was as described, only the curtains were a little too translucent for us. We were on site with two dogs and felt very comfortable :-)

It was a wonderful holiday! We don't understand the negative reviews. We were on the water every day with the standup paddle and one of the rowing boats - yes, the entrance is muddy, but it did not prevent us from fully enjoying this magnificent lake. The garden with all the seating and lounging options - as well as the fire bowl - made it a unique experience! We were able to sleep very well in the bed, it is very comfortable and the surroundings are nice and quiet. There is free wood & coffee, as well as some additional utensils such as oils, spices, cloths, dishwashing & towels, that's really great! Barbara was always immediately available when questions arose and she was very friendly. We will be back and are very grateful for this unique spot, right on the lake, in full idyll and tranquility! Mathias was friendly and always replied fast if we needed to get more information. The apartment is beautiful and clean. Overall we liked it!

Dunja is a very welcoming host, available and remarkably kind!! The accommodation is close to a train station allowing free parking and quick access to Constance, or any other destination Accommodation on the 2nd floor, a living and sleeping room with a pleasant view of Lake Constance. On the landing there is enough to heat dishes but does not allow cooking, which is not disturbing on vacation. The shower is also on the landing, the toilets are separated. We had a pleasant stay!!!!!

The place was exactly as pictured – clean, well-maintained and very well located. Roberto was a great host: extremely hospitable and available at any time if questions arose. Particularly noteworthy are the sauna with integrated stereo system and the clean hot tub – both made our stay even more relaxing. The large terrace offers plenty of space and privacy, perfect for unwinding. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

This was one of the BEST apartments I have ever stayed in! It was so cozy and had everything needed for the perfect stay. It was truly the most well stocked apartment I’ve ever stayed in! The fact that it’s technically an attic makes it so charming, especially with the high wooden ceiling and view of surrounding cottages. Both the bed and couch were comfy, and we saved a lot of money cooking at home! We didn’t use the loft, but it’s yet another cute addition to the apartment. Gianna is an incredibly kind and friendly host, and she really made sure we felt welcomed. And before I even realized it, her husband had carried my 50lb luggage up the long winding stairs that led to the apartment! The only single downside is that the apartment is not in the city center so buses and trains have to be used, but the bus stop is across the street! It is well worth staying here, and I would absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone! ♥️

Excellent place, one of the best we’ve ever been to. Super clean, beautiful view, quiet, best equipped kitchen I’ve ever seen. Hosts are available for questions. Luminous, cozy and spacious rooms. A car is almost a must here as there is no public transport close to the house.

We were allowed to spontaneously spend an extended weekend in the bijou sitterblick. The cottage and the surroundings fully met expectations. We especially liked the beautifully overgrown outdoor area. Very nice and uncomplicated hosts who cherish and care for their vacation home and the surroundings with a lot of love. Everything as described and as discussed in advance with Elisabeth. A cozy, alternative cottage with a beautiful view and garden. Great to let my dog run free, as everything is fenced. In nice weather, the outdoor shower is great. If we ever get there again, we'd love to test the pool again. :) Communication was fast, open and consistent.
