Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Thorpeness

Don't let the initial view from the outside put you off as the building appears to be under renovation. The flat is a good size, clean and the location is excellent should you wish to walk into town, visit the seafront or local bars and food retailers. The service was superb and all questions were answered promptly. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again.

This place is really special. We felt at home straight away and our little dog did too! It was comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you could need. It feels like it was once a loved home. Minutes from the beach and really nice restaurants, pier etc. Perfect communication from Maureen. We had a great time and would love to go back soon.

The Loft was the perfect stay for our Easter break with the children. The space is cosy, practical and comfortable - it has a really nice feel about it! The local area was great for local pubs/ play areas/ book shop and coffee/ walks and bike rides. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the children did not want to come home. The chocolate brownies and Easter nests were a lovely touch on arrival! Thank you so much for having us ☺️

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

Fantastic communications from Glynis & Joanna . Stylish apartment spotlessly clean, great location a true home from home had everything we needed and more, even put milk & jiuce in fridge which was appreciated after out 7 hour journey.. would use this apartment again while visiting family.

Another amazing stay at Blyth View. Graham and Jo are great hosts who were very responsive before and during our stay. We had visited before several years ago and our second stay was just as good. The house is beautiful, clean and perfect for a family, especially having the pool onsite. The surroundings are very peaceful and there’s so much to do in the surrounding area. Thanks again for our stay!

Our second stay at T&T’s beautiful home. Myself and my partner John could not fault the hosts in any way, the property is beautiful and even some added extras since our last stay and our suggestion listened to from before. Hosts were amazing when we had issues with heating and hot water and their handy man was very friendly and fixed the issue as quickly as possible. Such generous and amazing hosts. We look forward to hopefully returning in the future.

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Clear instructions on how to find it & get inside. We had 2 cars so parked 1 in the secure gated area which was a real benefit, the other car on the street. There was always space available in the road but not always directly outside the house. The house is on 3 floors with big spacious bedrooms & a seaview from the rear rooms. Exceptionally comfy beds & good quality bed linen & towels. A well equipped kitchen & a good stock of board games in the living room which we had fun using each evening. Other houses in the street had a wheelie bin but I couldn’t find ours so sorry, we couldn’t empty the bins as we normally would when vacating a property. 1 thing I would add to the top floor bedroom would be a comfy chair, there’s space for 1 & it would be a nice place to sit & read. The house is next to a trainline but right at the end of the line so no noise at all. Harwich is small & seemed very quiet. A few shops, pubs & restaurants easy walking distance away.

This not not the first time we have stayed here, which is a recommendation in itself. We did have a problem with the television but our hosts did all they could to sort it while we were there, and the remaining issue they will very probably have sorted by the time the next guest arrives. It was not significant enough to affect us in any significant way.

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

We had a wondeful time at the House in the Clouds. It was a great place for a family celebration and none of us could really believe we were staying in such an iconic building and one we had looked at since the 1970's. Such an amazing place for a family reunion and all the children who visited during the weekend (thye were staying in other houses in Thorpeness) had a brilliant time too. There is so much for them to do in the house and garden. The kitchen was really well equipped and we cooked meals for the 10 of us actually staying in the house. Thoroughly reccomend this unique experience.

We had a wonderful time in Felixstowe. Ian's home was amazing. It was spotless and comfortable. There were all the appliances you could possibly ask for and we were able to access the Landguard Fort and the port, Felixstowe Ferry and the shops very easily. 2 Parking spaces and the beach a few yards away. Plenty of play activities if you have children. We had a great time and I would highly recommend Ian's lovely home.

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

The photos cannot convey how secluded and beautiful the setting is - with the houses set among mature trees of a former arboretum. Guests are welcome to enjoy Paul and Esther's lovely garden. The annexe is entirely self-contained. Esther is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

Me and my wife stayed here for New Year’s Eve. We wanted. Change from the house party vibe, and stumbled across this lovely place. Annetta is a lovely host, very friendly and was happy to help if needed. We enjoyed the location, such a wonderful house surrounded by countryside. The jacuzzi was amazing! We looked at the stars while sipping champagne from our wedding a few months back. What more do you want! Would definitely recommend! Thanks for the hospitality Annetta! All the best Luke & Addie x

This was our 5th new year staying at Maddies Flat, and as always we had an amazing time. The accommodation is perfect, and the welcome items on arrival; butter, milk, bread and eggs is a special touch, along with jam and tea and coffee. Definitely recommend the Kings Head, which is walkable from Maddies. The apartment is clean, spacious, luxurious and we always feel at home as soon as we arrive. Hope to be back next year.
