Monthly Rentals in Thorndale

The cozy cabin was perfect for a roadtrip getaway. It was beautiful with all the windows. We felt very connected to the countryside with the beautiful scenery. The kitchen was equipped with all the essentials for preparing home cooked meals. The home was well cared for with a pristine kitchen and bathroom. The living room was nicely decorated and very cozy for reading. We got to watch the fireflies after the sun went down which was very peaceful. The bed was super comfy and we slept blissfully. We got to take a nap and unplug/re-connect and enjoy the peaceful home. The furniture is very comfy for binging Hulu movies. Brooke was friendly, proactive and responsive. We were very comfortable in April’s house. It has a nice clean, open, airy feeling. Nicely decorated and the deck looks out to the water in Murphy Park, a nice place to take a walk. I loved taking care of her three chickens too!

Awesome stay. Tommy is an awesome host. It was great to meet him. We had a bad thunderstorm come through and he texted during the storm to make sure we were okay. He also stopped by the following morning to make sure there were no downed trees and such. The home is perfect. Nice and cozy. The river was nice to take a dip in on hot days. I loved lounging in the hammock in the afternoons or drinking coffee on the front porch in the mornings. There’s a lot of wildlife and great history around the area. The driveway is huge and accommodated my 19’ truck and 28’ trailer. It was definitely the stay I needed while in Austin for work. Highly recommend.

A picturesque and relaxing home away from home for our family trip to Texas! We would love to return someday.
