Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

The Dairy at Bortons Farm

The Dairy at Bortons Farm is a self-contained annexe attached to the rear of the farmhouse. 15 minutes drive from Southwold, it offers a peaceful rural location but near to the beautiful beaches of Southwold and the busy market town of Beccles. We have 2 bedrooms, a shower room, two toilets and a fully fitted kitchen plus washing machine. Wifi throughout. Enclosed, secure garden. The living area has TV with Amazon Fire TV stick. Nina's Cottage - Southwold

Nina's Cottage is a recently renovated holiday home, perfect for up to 4 people (and furry friends). I've lovingly furnished and decorated it to a high standard to make it the perfect base to explore Southwold and the surrounding areas. The house features a cosy lounge with a log burner, a very spacious kitchen and living space, large master bedroom and king size double bed, a twin bed 2nd bedroom, as well as a fully enclosed garden. Ideally placed only a short walk to the high street and beach.

Birdhaven is a delightful cottage situated on a quiet lane in the pretty village of Wenhaston, just a few miles from Southwold and the Suffolk Coast & Heaths. This charming recently modernised two bedroom end-terrace holiday cottage in the centre of the village conservation area sleeps up to four. It is perfectly located for exploring the Suffolk Coast, historic sites like Framlingham and Orford Castles, Sutton Hoo, Snape Maltings and is a great area for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers. Up to two well behaved pets allowed. Note: there are 2 padded low beams and steep stairs. The garden is enclosed by hedging and fencing but it is not dog proof.

Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

Rose Cottage

Near the Sea and RSPB Minsmere Bird reserve also the towns of Aldeburgh and Southwold. The cottage has fields in-front filled with alpacas and behind fields of cereals.We have off road Parking, under floor heating. Private Patio garden and shared access to a large garden. We supply all bedding and the 2 bedrooms sleeps 4 with a fully equipped Kitchen. From July 23 we have built a another holiday home next door called Lilac cottage. This cottage sleep 6 people.

Dreamers Cottage is perfectly located, right in the heart of Southwold. Short breaks throughout the year, with a minimum stay of just 2 nights even in high season.
