This place is very special. If you are looking for something really offbeat and minimalist with spectator views and a calm surrounding, this is the place for you. The host and the caretakers were really helpful and the tents were super awesome and comfortable to stay at. Definitely recommend this gem of a place to everybody!

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as shown in the pictures—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. Suresh and Ganesh were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my visit, always making sure everything was perfect. A special mention goes to Freddy the dog and Charlie the cat—they truly made the experience feel even more homely and memorable. The breakfast was delicious and filling, a perfect start to each day. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Home That Feels Like Family Staying here was an experience that touched the heart. Dechu Aunty, with her incredible strength and grace as an ex-army wife, and her son Som, a kind soul with a heart of gold, have created something truly special. The lush green surroundings, the peaceful silence, the lovingly cooked food everything felt like a warm embrace. We didn’t feel like guests, we felt like family. Grateful for their stories, care, and the calm this beautiful place brought us. A stay we’ll always cherish.

First floor space

Usha’s place felt like home. It’s three traditional flats. Her family lives in the lower one and the upper two are rented with laundry on the top. We loved having a workable real kitchen, washer and lines to dry on, and the home feeling of it all. The daily maid service ensures the floors are always nice. We will definitely stay with Usha if we come back again!

Melrose Place Gokulam Cozy studio apartment.

FrankieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed in the studio apartment at Melrose House for over a month and am so happy with my experience. The bed was as comfy, the bathroom was nice and always spotless, with great hot water. The bug screen on the window and EXCELLENT ceiling fan were a huge plus. Despite the April heat and no A/C, the thick insulating walls kept the space cool enough. It’s much healthier than A/C, you know. The neighborhood is peaceful, green, and full of charm—quiet streets, sweet neighbors, and a calm atmosphere (minus one very vocal dog across the street). There’s a lovely, very quiet café just opposite the house, and many more food options (and all shopping needs) within a five-minute walk. There’s even an ATM just on the corner there. If you’re going to Mysuru for yoga, this is the perfect location—every major shala is within walking distance. I rarely left the neighborhood! Lol I’ll definitely be remembering this place for my next visit to Mysuru.
