Hungry Hippie Hostel now has Camping + Glamping! Our canvas wall tents are waterproof and super cozy! Our version of Glamping includes: the 8'x16' tent, decking (with screened in porch), comfy mattress and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Also included- a campfire ring + picnic table at each of our glamping sites. Tents are located within 200 feet of our brand new shower house. The shower house is divided into mens & womens spaces. Each space having two showers, three toilets and two sinks.

This cozy tent is on a platform and under a moss roof built by Heather herself using materials sourced from the land on which it now sits. The property is nestled with-in state land and is walking distance from the river, a fishermans paradise. Across the river you can jump onto the North Country Trail. We are close to major ATV trails and are a 40min drive from Traverse City.

Glamping Tent
Unwind in our cozy off-grid glamping tent, which features a comfy bed, propane powered outdoor shower, rustic outhouse, firepit/grill, and a picnic area. This is not a drive up site, the walk to site is about a minute. Wagons are provided to assist you in bringing your belongings to site. There is no hydro or running water on property, the water for the shower will be supplied for you. Occasional tool sounds may be heard as we continue developing the land.
