Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Located at 2nd Hand Ranch & Rescue, this tiny house in the timber was built to share the beauty of nature with folks that want to camp.... but not really camp. This 12x12 house is off grid with a cute outhouse nestled in the timber behind the wildlife rescue. Relax and unplug for the weekend and know 100% of the fee goes to the animal rescue. We bring your supplies up via Gator as you hike the trail up. PLEASE NOTE: NO RUNNING WATER/SHOWERS

This 100 sq. ft. tiny A-Frame offers cozy comfort with two stackable twin beds that convert into a queen (side-by-side) when desired. Amenities include the essentials: BBQ, drinking and dish water, power box to charge devices and a small light, plus an outhouse with a composting toilet. Centrally located near Old Baldy Lookout, Beaver Valley, Blue Mountain and Duncan Caves. The perfect spot to relax and unwind!

We have just added an outdoor sauna to this fabulous cabin in the woods behind our house. Although there is only 1 proper bedroom there is a sleeping loft with a queen size bed and window overlooking the hardwood forest. We also have a pull-out couch. Guests have complete privacy and everything provided for a comfortable stay This is a cabin with peaceful relaxation in mind....no loud parties or anything of that nature. Come and enjoy northern Michigan's beauty in all seasons.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).

1 bedroom 1 bath with loft. Cozy home where you can see Paradise. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Views for miles of the Mississippi River, bluff tops and you can soar with the Eagles. What a place to relax in the newly added hot tub while you enjoy the view in what is call "God's Country". This is promised to be a one of a kind view. The Deck with comfortable outdoor seating Located in the heart of WIsconsin's Driftless Region.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Nestled among the trees, it provides a quiet getaway from the chaos of life allowing you to recharge and renew. The main residence is approximately 400 feet from the cabin. The cabin is secluded and yet close to local attractions, restaurants, biking and nature trails. The Cabin has a total of 420 sq ft living space with 280 sq ft on the ground floor and a 140 sq ft bedroom loft.
