Welcome to "Cabin on Swede Hill". Our family has farmed this land since 1871. My great grandparents, Swan and Johanna Johnson immigrated to America in the 1860's, found this land which was similar to Sweden. They raised their family here. Approximately 65 Swedish families settled in this community, became to be know as the "Swede Hills". We just received the Hoosier Homestead Award from Indiana celebrating the Sesquicentennial Award. Hot tub on the roof! The boat is located at Millennium Marina. This boat does not move!

This recently renovated cabin features an open concept floor plan and boasts a modern-rustic aesthetic. The cabin resides in the heart of northern Michigan with proximity to many golf and ski resorts, nature and snowmobile trails, lakes and state parks. Listen to records, have a bonfire, relax in the hot tub, or take a walk along the beautiful Lake Louise!

Come on in Glamping enthusiast, make yourself at home in our small but adorable 12 by 24 rustic mini cabin. Solar powered lights and electric plug-ins and lights with gas stove and fridge. Queen size futon on main floor , Hot shower outside under the beautiful sky and no more Porta potty located outside. Toilet is now inside! Surrounded by a beautiful hardwood forest. Be one with nature. Sitting just up the hill from our mini donkeys and our 4 adorable boy alpacas.

Green Acres: Your Home Among the Trees

Steeped in nature, the gazebo provides a get away into nature, with its double bed and intimate sized room this is a wonderful space for 2 to be immersed in a peaceful environment. Whether you came here to rest & revive or to explore there is plenty to be had! The gazebo has a nearby compostable toliet (shared with other guests), and just a 1 minute walk on a path in the woods to the main house (where the full bathroom is that can be used 9am-8pm).
