Monthly Rentals in The Catlins

We had the pleasure of a second stay at Skylark B&B! It was a great spot to explore the Catlins from, but we most loved the comfort and views from our room, the farm tour and the hospitality of and visits with Melanie and Karl! A must stop, and a wonderful way to end our time in NZ! Per my husband "a beautiful and peaceful place, with gracious and accommodating hosts!"

Jacks shack was a perfect tiny home retreat for our 2 night stay in the Catlins. It had everything we needed, and a bonus of a lovely walk (Jacks Blowhole) right in its backyard. No TV meant we could really immerse ourselves in the surrounds, and the cozy heater and fire pit were nice. We enjoyed the bubbles, chips and dip! Thanks Ashlee for a great stay.

We picked the place for the chance of minimum light pollution to admire the starry sky and it didn’t disappoint us. This place is so remote, it’s such a charm in case you just need to go “away” for some time. Being a perfect hangout for kicking back and daze off, it is not too far away from many interesting trails. The three alpacas are absolutely adorable.

A wonderful BnB to explore the Catlins from and unwind for a weekend. The space felt much bigger than what it was with vast windows, ocean/lake views, and use of the deck, bbq and hot tub! Jo was amazing with communication and very welcoming. She even made a little chocolate cake for us!
