If you like quiet peaceful place with great views this is the place. A short easy drive to town for groceries or dinner. Great hikes nearby come home have beverage on the porch and watch the sun set with the sheep and horses (Mickey and Ringo)

We had an amazing time at Helen's place for my 40th birthday. We just wish we could have stayed longer! Our toddler loved spending time with the alpacas, rabbits and horses and there was plenty of space for him to roam around in. We had a lovely BBQ in beautiful sunshine and surrounds. We definitely want to return! Thank you so much!

Very well maintained place and lots of room

The apartment was close to the Centre. It was a short bus ride. Everything was pretty much walkable to the major attractions.

We really enjoyed staying at Niagara Ridge Retreat. The house was comfortable, view was amazing, and we liked the location.

Kerry’s place is a salve to homogenised accommodation and culture in general. It celebrates creativity, originality and colour! Kerry is a lovely host too. It’s a bit of a hike out of town and you will probably need a car but worth it for something unique.

There were three of us staying for three nights, and we all loved this home. It's nice to stay in a house that has been lovingly restored in such a great manner. The ceilings are very tall and the sense of volume in each room makes each room seem larger. The house is furnished really well and everything is super clean. Loved cooking in the kitchen, which had every sort of utensil, pot or pan you'd ever need. Communications with the host were great throughout. We really appreciated this home's location because it was easy to drive to the airport and to downtown Dunedin since it's roughly halfway between them. This is a great house; we'd love to return and we 100% recommend.

Cool place! it's 2 separate , locking rooms . Each with it's own bath that share a large common area . This was perfect for 2 couples traveling together. The hosts were so friendly and responsive . Comfy place nearby town .

Rebekah’s place was perfect for our girls weekend away. Large kitchen, dining and living areas made it easy to hang out and chat. Warm and cosy, with comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower (which apparently is unusual in Karitane). Rebekah was super friendly and responsive, and even gave us some local recommendations. Thanks Rebekah & family for sharing your bach with us 😊

The view was beautiful and made the stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped and easy to use. There was also a very detailed and helpful guide for visitors, which made getting around and planning activities much easier. I really appreciated the thoughtful setup.

We are a family of 4 and we stayed at The Bach for 2 nights. We enjoyed it so much we'll likely return here next time. The house is very well equipped and even has a really nice Webber grill! There are lots of games to keep kids entertained. The kitchen and the bedrooms and the living room are all modern and cozy. The bathrooms are very clean and modern. The beds are very comfortable (we like mattresses with moderately firmness, which they are). The house is only a 15-minutes drive from Central Dunedin and is located in a very peaceful and quiet area. Stan is also a great host who respond quickly to your questions. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Bach.

Lovely place; very spacious for two people and set in a beautiful garden visited by a wild peahen. We enjoyed the visits from their sweet dog and cat too. Conveniently located to Dunedin, grocery shopping and nearby beaches.

Having spent 6 weeks travelling from Cape Regina in the North to Invercargill in the South and having stayed in 12 other accommodation situations, Carla and Ken’s little house was by far the best we’ve experienced. It was like a home away from home with all the comforts provided. The kitchen was fantastic, the beds were warm and comfortable and the shower was hot with plenty of water pressure. Would recommend staying over anywhere else if you’re visiting Invercargill. We wished we’d had more time there. Thank you Carla and Ken for 2 of the best nights R&R one could wish for. This is a great place to stay near the university! While small and cozy it was a great place to call home for several weeks. Chris was incredibly accommodating and flexible. Would recommend anyone to looking to stay in the Dunedin area!

We loved staying at the Glamis Cottage in Port Chalmers. Port Chalmers is small, peaceful, and quiet. The cottage is a beautiful place to explore from. Easy drive to Dunedin. The apartment itself is very homey and comfortable. Monique is warm and generous and a great host. We would gladly stay there again.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was wonderful. Linda is the sweetest host from providing us complementary breakfast to letting us meet and feed the sheep which we absolutely enjoyed. The place had everything we need and more! If we ever come visit Te Anau/Milford Sound again, we’ll definitely would want to stay at Linda and John’s place. P.S. Holly was great and lovely too though we forgot to take a picture 😊

Fabulous property with a retro, warm feel. We had the best 2 nights, enjoying crisp autumn mornings with views to the mountains from the living room and deck. The underfloor heating in the bathroom ensured total comfort. Sunny and glorious, would love to stay again, thanks Margie.

Very clean, quiet, and comfortable place to stay. The outlook was beautiful—mountains right outside the window made it feel extra special. Everything was well organised for a hassle-free visit. Check-in and check-out were simple, and the space had everything needed for a smooth, relaxing stay. Would definitely book again!
