Beautiful, quiet location, large garden. Room nice and spacious, large, open kitchen. Everything very clean and cozy.

We felt very comfortable and everything met the expected expectations. We will be back in Februarywiederda we are close again.

We were with 14 people in the Suffelmühle over Easter. We enjoyed the time together very much while cooking, eating, playing, walking. Great area with castles nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Thank you, Inga, for the beautiful hostel!

Super nice house and nice quiet location to relax and come down! We felt right at home and were totally impressed by the accommodation. Restaurants, grocery stores, bakers and a small beach bar in the vicinity and total idyll. Many beautiful hiking routes from the property even without a car. The house was super equipped and totally well coordinated. Every corner of the house invited you to relax. Felix and Holger were friendly, uncomplicated and quickly accessible. We definitely recommend it! Not unlikely that we will come again:)

We stayed in March 2025 for 3 nights in the suburbs and it was fantastic. Despite the "main road" location (it was less busy than some dead ends), it was quiet and idyllic. The neighbors were very friendly, the baker right around the corner and Lake Dümmer 10 min. by car. The furnishings are traditionally and quaintly selected to match the house. The two gardens were also a dream and we will miss them the most. Thank you for everything.

It was the most beautiful and welcoming place I have ever had. I visited Germany on a business trip, and after work, I was able to heal physically and mentally by staying in the accommodation. I am very satisfied with the host being very kind and attentive. I'd love to visit with my family again if I get a chance. Thank you again to the hosts who kindly accepted us.

The accommodation is impeccable and Heinz is very friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at his place, the garden was also nice, especially for the kids 😀

Thanks to the detailed information about the apartment and the check-in, we had a great stay and were able to fully enjoy our time. Our host answered all our questions very quickly. The description and photos match and we didn't miss anything. The location was great - just a few steps from the rehab and about 5-10 minutes' walk to downtown. We were even greeted at Christmas time with a chocolate Santa Claus. If we visit Bad Essen again, we will definitely choose this apartment again!

We enjoyed the time around Christmas at the place very much. The friendly welcome was great and the house was beautifully large and lovingly furnished. We felt comfortable there.

Beautiful log cabin in a large garden and through the fireplace it is really cozy in the evening. The kitchen is quite well equipped, in case you like to cook yourself. Only one pan was missing. Corinna was very friendly and uncomplicated.

Ines' accommodation is located in a huge residential complex directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Kindly, the host has put together a very detailed instruction, so you can easily find the apartment. Everything was very clean, the covered balcony is a great plus! Right in front of the building you have your own parking area. If you are traveling by public transport, you have a bus stop right outside the front door. The water is only a few minutes' walk away. I felt very comfortable in the accommodation, which despite its small size has everything you need.

Marion's place is beautiful! The garden is gorgeous and the pool is clean. The apartment (Anton) is very cosy, all little details create a welcoming and warm ambiance. Our dog was very welcome too. We would love to come back. Highly recommended!

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). What a wonderful weekend we had, Sina's parents, Erika and Helmut, are very welcoming, helpful and cozy. Reception with "kaffee und Kuchen", every day the cozy tile fireplace was lit for us, homemade liqueur, fresh eggs on arrival.... Accommodation is complete and clean. Hereditary Willi greets you kindly. Lovely garden to relax in. Surroundings are beautiful, varied forests and peat areas nearby, lots of wildlife and birds spotted, beautiful walks made with our dog. Recommended !!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

We spent the holidays in Dissen and the apartment was great! Everything was perfectly maintained, superbly furnished and clean. Communication was also very good.

Everything was as pictured, it was clean and everything worked out. Parking was available, the area is very safe. If you stay longer, consider that there is no freezer

The family welcomed us very warmly – we felt welcome right from the start. The little house is lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you might need. It was particularly nice that our child was enthusiastic about watching the chickens running freely around the house. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling, and the property is fenced off from the street, so our son could play carefree in the garden. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and can recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, nature and a family atmosphere.

We had a great stay at Michael's "super cozy" place! The accommodation is furnished with a lot of love for detail, super equipped (kitchen, technology, light - everything great!) and simply invites you to feel good. Especially nice: the large terrace and the huge garden with barbecue! Despite the central location, you are completely undisturbed and have the whole cottage to yourself. Michael is a great host: helpful and responsive. I found the personal YouTube videos in advance very helpful and likeable. All in all, a really great place with character - we will be happy to come back!
