Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a relaxing break, Les Chouettes is a perfect place to base your holiday. With so much to offer in the surrounding area you won't be short of things to do, and for those days when you just want to stay on site, we have a lovely pool over looking the countryside, to relax by. We are on hand to help should you need us, and are happy to provide information, help you make reservations or even join you for a glass of wine if you fancy some company!

La Maison du Passeur Gîte

Close to Circuit du Val de Vienne, this well-equipped, historic cottage in a quiet location for up to six guests has views over the river and countryside. Three bedrooms - a large master and two further adjoining rooms - plus a sofa bed in the living room. Please note, there are some low doorways and internal steps. Availles-Limouzine, a charming village on the Vienne river, has a bakery, a butcher, a general store and a weekly market. You will also find several restaurants and cafe/bars.

Green & Blue

In this cozy and spacious apartment of more than 50 m², dating from around 1640, it is wonderful to stay. Thanks to the authentic, thick natural stone walls, it stays wonderfully cool in the summer. Towels, bedding and kitchen towels are already waiting for you, and you are welcome to make free use of our garden and natural swimming pond. And of course, everyone is welcome with us. We are LGBTIQ+-friendly and believe in a place where everyone feels free and at home!

Welcome to Ferme du Pont de Maumy In an authentic and warm vintage spirit, the Maumy Bridge cabin is the perfect place to let yourself be carried away by an exotic experience. Built ecologically with its burnt wood cladding, its atypical style will not leave you indifferent. You will enjoy its large terrace and stunning views of the pond on sunny days, as well as its interior with its soft and cozy atmosphere, and its wood-burning stove for your long evenings.

Located in the countryside, in a wooded area, the cabin is 3 minutes from all amenities (bakery, organic grocery store, supermarkets, frozen food store...) and 3 minutes from the heart of Saint-Junien, (weekly market on Saturday morning, covered halls, bars, restaurants, doctors, hospital...). It is also 10 minutes from the Oradour-sur-Glane Memorial Centre and 20 minutes from Limoges, City of Arts and Fire, famous for its porcelain.

Gîte de la Sonnette

In a protected, hilly and wooded environment of Charente Limousine, traditional Charente house, completely restored, located in a one-hectare park. Large 50 m2 family room. Large stone terrace shaded by a stone pine. Wood-burning stove in the living room. Located on the edge of the village with direct access to the paths. Ideal setting for athletes and/or families who want to enjoy nature and animals: Horses, sheep, chickens are present on the property.

Perfect for a quiet nature vacation, with family or friends, with everything on site to enjoy (heated pool in summer, jacuzzi, BBQ/gas plancha, ping pong table, foosball, swing, trampoline...). Located in a small village with shops nearby (bakery, butcher/local artisanal products, supermarket, pharmacy...) and a small market on Sundays.

The beautifully restored gite lies in the heart of the country but is close to the lovely historic village of Verteuil, one of the prettiest in Charente, dominated by a magnificent chateau with restaurants, wine cellar, and a small Sunday market.
