Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Terceira Island

This place is absolutely beautiful and peaceful, truly get the country-living experience here! It was clean and cozy and the stars at night were just incredible. It was a bit cold since I was visiting in early January, but there is an electric heater for the room, which I was grateful for. One small thing - if you are a light sleeper, I'd recommend bringing along some ear plugs, as the roosters in the morning can be quite loud (although it does add to the charm!!). Overall, would highly recommend this place!

Duarte is an amazing host, great communication before we arrived, picked us up and the airport and gave us a tour of the property and all the amazing amenities. It was also late and the grocery stores were closed when we arrived so he even had a few beers for us which was great as we'd been in transit for almost 24hrs. He gave amazing recommendations for things to see and great places to eat. He's an amazing host. The place is a slice of paradise beautiful surroundings a garden to pick fresh food from, orange trees for fresh fruit for breakfast and banana tress too. The space is very cozy and has everything you need. There is a small grocery store about a 15min walk away and lots a very close drive. A magical place to stay, will be back for sure.

The best Airbnb I ever had. Beautiful house with huge garden, easy parking on the street or inside the garden, great host. I can only recommend. We got also some bread, milk, sardines, jam and some biscuits as a welcome basket.

Gorgeous spot above the Atlantic Ocean. Beautiful baths a mile down the road. Everywhere you wish to visit on the island is reachable in 25 minutes by car. We feel very fortunate to have stayed in this beautiful home! The Gallagher's Penngrove California

This is a really lovely house - we stayed here for 3 days and wished we could have enjoyed Gustavo's hospitality linger. Gustavo is very responsive and pro - active with local tips. Even when he was on a trans - Atlantic while we were staying in the house, he ensured there was s back up yo respond and help us, if needed. Loved the house and would recommend it highly

I have stayed at MANY airbnb’s over the years and Jorge’s property is in the top two of all (The other being in Mendocino, California). Jorge was an amazing host, the location was incredibly relaxing and beautiful, and the home was comfortable, well-stocked and clean. I would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend this property to anyone who will be traveling to Terciera.

Susannah’s place is at the edge of a little village, and if feels like a different world: peaceful and quiet, with a beautiful view over the ocean. The cottage looks ordinary from the outside, but inside is wow: new and very tastefully decorated - beautiful. We drove to all the places we wanted to see on Terceira, and enjoyed a local hike too. It was really handy to have a washer and dryer in the middle of our holiday. We loved staying here!
