Family-friendly vacation rentals in Terceira Island

Paulo and Cátia were extremely friendly, always ready to support , very chatty and kind , the place was great with everything you need , and the view was absolutely amazing !!! The dogs were friendly and the kids had great fun with them always happy to return to the house where the dogs were already waiting for them with a warm welcome , specially Bela the biggest dog !!! Definitely worth the stay and recommended to couple or small family ! We will be back to visit next time we in the Island :)

The house is very well located and had everything that was needed for the stay. João sent us recommendations on the places to visit on the island which greatly facilitated the management of time on which places to visit during the holidays. We want to return to Terceira Island and for sure we will rebook João's accommodation! A well there! 🙏

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in Terceira. The north coast is very peaceful and quiet. The house is located within a few minutes of a small village with a grocery store and a few nice restaurants. The drive to the main cities is about 20 to 30 minutes. The house was just as pictured with beautiful furniture, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and tons of towels and linens. The pool and hot tub are lovely and clean with gorgeous views. There’s a fire pit and sauna available as well. The kids loved checking in on the chickens, peacocks and bunnies every day and also playing on the swings. Hugo was a great host. Always responsive and provided tons of great local recommendations. Overall a fabulous stay on this beautiful island!

Amazing place with a breathtaking view on the ocean, close to São Mateus (walkable) and very close to the city. Pristine new residence with all you need to have a great stay! Would definitely rent again!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Carmo’s Adega do Porto. It was such a charming home with an old world feel in a beautiful location. It’s a short walk to the pools and we walked to the Biscoitos pools daily to swim. You really can’t beat the views and the area for your stay. Francisco and Carmo were very welcoming and a great hosts during our stay. The Adega felt like home after spending three weeks there. We were there during the cultural festival so we had access to entertainment and food daily for one of the weeks we were there. We definitely recommend the Adega for its location to the water and walking distance to the pools to swim and for its lovely hosts. We can’t wait until our next visit. Adega do Porto will always hold a special place in our hearts❤️

Great experience. Sandra communicated well all the details we needed and was very kind. The place was exactly what we needed in between overnight flights. It was very conveniently located by the airport.

Our experience was wonderful from the moment we arrived. We were so surprised that Eugenia greeted us with a pot of soup and fresh bread that helped make our first evening there much easier. The home has everything you need, a great kitchen and the sound of the waves to put you to sleep at night. The patio was absolutely amazing for watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Eugenia is an amazing host and stayed very accessible to us. Very responsive to questions and requests. We work when we travel so we asked if there was an extension cord available for us to be able to sit on the patio with our laptops. Rui, her husband, showed up within minutes with one for us to use. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Grateful we had such a quiet, peaceful place to sleep upon arriving from the US. It was about a 10-15 minute taxi ride. The taxi driver called the host to get a clear idea where we needed to go. I am not sure what the host said the the taxi driver, but it made all the difference and he drove directly to the home. Everything is as it is described.

Beautiful house around Biscoitos, good location to discover Terceira. We found everything very consistent with what was described, the house had everything you need , the landscape was postcard, Vitor was very kind and accurate even when we had to replace the gas tank, he was always ready to help us and give us advice on the spot. Top experience!

We really loved our stay. Home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and in a great location. And the ocean view from the balcony is spectacular. On top of it all, Carla is a gracious host that makes you feel like a part of her family. She took the time to give us a tour, gave us tips on what to do and see on the island, checked in often to see how we were doing, and was quick to respond to questions. The home is conveniently located right outside of the city center, a 5 minute drive. Would stay there again. Thanks for being a great host Carla!

This place was absolutely amazing and Henrique and Theresa were fabulous hosts. We took them up on their offer to make us a traditional dinner and would highly recommend it if you can. It was one of the best experiences of our entire vacation just hanging out with them chatting over wine, wonderful food and an amazing dessert made by Theresa! Henrique had tons of great restaurants recommendations all over the island and we even shared a drink at the local Vista Terrace/Grill one night with them (would highly recommend that place also) The space is beautiful! We enjoyed breakfast on the deck every morning and looked forward to coming back and having wine and looking at the stars each night. It was a relaxing and perfect space for a getaway from the world! I couldn't recommend this spot highly enough and can't wait to go back.

Cozy clean cottage with a lot of space in a great garden. Friendly hospitality, well equiped kitchen, comfortable beds. A car is necessary, parking place included. What else do you need for a successful holiday?

Our family of 4 had a great stay! The house and property are beautiful and obviously loved. Great hosts, very friendly locals, delicious pizza, and a fantastic pool. The hosts go above and beyond welcoming and helping us get settled. It's not really a walkable area - everything is fairly far away, so car recommended.

We booked the house from Walter for a week for 10 persons, 6 adults and 4 children. Unfortunately me and my wife could’t go, but our daughters with their families went. They had a lovely time in the house. They said that Walter was a great host and the house was big en really nice. The kids loved the swimming pool, the football field and the play area.

It is a spacious house, with many beds and a large private pool. It also has an upstairs living room where the meetings are very nice. I would definitely go back.

Dora is a great host. Excellent place to stay. The apartment is very comfortable for six people and well equipped. It is also a great location with many things within walking distance.

Patrizia and Costantino received us with simplicity and modesty. The apartment is very nice with garden view then the blue of the sea and the sky as a backdrop. Their carefully crafted pizzas are worthy of the best pizza places in Italy.... with PLEASURE.
