Had a great family getaway for a few nights. Peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and close to amenities if needed. Lovely cabin!

Great cozy cottage with a private lake entrance. Miles was a great host. Hot tub & sauna were very enjoyable and overall the place was great.

We loved Jess' place. Very cozy and felt like home. The location and house are perfect for a city escape. The area is relaxing and quiet, and all the locals seem nice. One kind neighbour even shared his logs with us to help with the fire.

Great stay for our friends bachelorette. It has everything we needed and was a prime location in Bala for everything you may need.

We had an excellent stay at Steve’s cottage. Comfortable, super clean and had so many fun things to do! We really appreciated the gift basket and wine! It was enjoyed. Ty!

Our stay at this Bala cottage was excellent. The property is beautiful and well-suited for entertaining a large group. We found it to be very spacious and clean. There were plenty of activities available on site, including kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding, as well as a hot tub. Enjoying coffee in the Muskoka chairs by the water, with lake views, was a highlight. We would certainly recommend this cottage.

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Muskoka cabin. Great views of the lake and was really fun to go out on the canoe and kayaks. The cabin was cozy and nice with a great kitchen and awsome living room for hanging out and relaxing. Host was extremely responsive and nice. She provided helpful clear instructions and information. Would love to go back.

Jennifer's place was a perfect gathering point for our birthday family reunion. The accommodation was spotless, bright and warm and even had a little pack and play set up for the baby to have a nap. The grounds were stunning as was the view. Our only regret is that the weather did not cooperate so water activity was limited to a polar dip followed by a relaxing soak in the hot tub. A beautiful retreat that our family thinks should be an annual event.

My family was visiting from Ireland, and we wanted to give them a taste of cottage life. This Airbnb went beyond what we could have hoped for. I don't think the pictures do it justice. The island was private, beautifully designed, and spacious enough for six of us to feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. It felt like a home away from home. We spent our days fishing, canoeing, reading, eating well, and soaking in the stunning grounds and beautiful home. As to be expected with any cottage, bring bug spray for the black flies and mosquitos—especially if you're visiting in the warmer months. Stephen was a fantastic host: helpful and easy to communicate with. I'd love to make staying here a yearly tradition :)

Such a perfect little getaway spot. Super quiet and private — loved relaxing in the hot tub at night and hanging by the fire. The place has a dock with kayaks and paddleboards, which made the lake time extra fun. Everything was clean and cozy, and it just felt peaceful the whole time. Already planning to come back!

Alex was friendly and quick to respond to any inquiry. The cottage was beautiful, clean, with comfortable beds and everything you could think of that you may need. The surroundings were amazing and the hot tub and sauna were great added perks. We thoroughly enjoyed everything including sitting around the fire looking over the peaceful water. Fit 8 guests perfectly, great communication and amazing location. Everything was clean and organized. 12 minutes from mount St. Louis which was perfect for our trip. Can’t recommend this place enough. Would 100% book again with Jenni!

My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at this cottage. The lakefront property is beautiful, clean, and our favourite part was watching the gorgeous sunsets that could been seen from the terrace as well as from inside. Jesse was easy to reach and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we were having a good stay.

Our stay at Mike and Elaine’s place was simply amazing. Beautiful spot on the lake. It was so nice to relax on the dock, jump in for a swim, go for a paddleboard or kayak, enjoy the fire at night, or play some games in the screened-in muskoka room. They really have thought of everything here. As hosts, they went above and beyond to make sure our time there was perfect. Couldn’t ask for a better spot, or better hosts.

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing weekend at Ina’s place! The cottage was beautiful and clean. Ina was very responsive to my questions and extremely helpful!

One of my favourite Airbnb cottages! The space is perfect for a family (lots of kid focused things) or for a few friends. The property is beautiful, has great amenities like the sauna and water toys. The beds are very comfy and kitchen had anything you could need. All in all this was one of the best experience I’ve had. The host was super lovely, and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought and care into creating a great experience for their guests.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, clean, and perfect for our group of 10 adults. The lakeside view was beautiful, and the large deck was a great spot to relax and enjoy the sunset. This place is perfect for anyone who enjoys fishing or boating. We’d love to come back when the weather is warmer! Bijan was a great host—very responsive, kind, and easy to communicate with. This cottage is in such a beautiful place. It's very quiet and private. The view is incredible. The wrap around deck was our favourite place at sunset. The views are unbeatable, even when you are inside the cottage the views are amazing. There are lots of things to do down by the water courtesy of the hosts. We also did some fishing right off the dock. The kitchen has everything you need. The wifi worked incredible. It feels like you are in the middle of nowhere when in reality you are a 10 min drive from everything you may need. The trek to the cottage from where you park is bit of a challenge to carry your belongings. There's stairs everywhere so anyone with a bad knee or out of shape etc would definitely have a hard time getting around the property. Especially accessing the water, there's a ton of stairs to go up and down. Stairs aside I would most definitely go back again. The weather wasn't in our favor but we made the best of it. Truly a little piece of heaven.Ty🩷

My wife and I had a wonderful time . The cottage was perfect for the two of us . The fishing was great and it’s such a beautiful spot . We brought our boat, there is a marina close by , the people there were so friendly we were able to park our car for the whole time at the marina and just come back and forth to the cottage with the boat . It was a a relaxing trip cottage has everything you need . Only tip is to bring all ur food and drink that you want, town is about a half hour drive but if you’re going in the summer months the marina has some essentials . We would definitely book again ! Loved our stay at River Vista! The attention to detail was what makes this cottage luxury: from beautiful live plants, to plenty of convenient storage, comfy beds and a giant couch perfect for enjoying the forest view, playing board games or snuggling with a book. Loved walking to the falls, as well as just watching the river flow. The private mini hike was a cool surprise too. Last but not least, Natasha and Matt are responsive and helpful - thank you! We can’t wait to return in the summer so we can float, paddle board and canoe 🛶.
