Great place for family fun - enough space for both privacy and togetherness

This is by far one of the best trips we have had! Brent is so welcoming and his place is very clean and well kept…he even makes you a great breakfast :). He is very personable, easy to get along with and knowledgeable about the trails! I wouldn’t think twice about recommending him, in fact we are already planning our next trip with him for next year!

Great house with a great location for ATV riding. Couldn't ask for a better place or location. Jarrid is there if you need him but he will leave you alone when you want privacy. A+ host!

Joseph and Catherine get it right! This Airbnb is everything you want and then a little extra. From the beautiful location to the lovely, well-appointed interior. They communicate quickly and make everything about staying here effortless and peaceful. Cedar Bluff is my hometown, and we returned for a family funeral. I've had my eye on River and Roots for a while and was pleased that it was available during the time we needed accommodations. It was perfect for my family and my fur babies. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and the screened in porch was such a nice respite spot. I will definitely be looking forward to another visit. This place is amazing!

Patricia was very friendly and accommodating. The house was a cozy 2 story. This house was great for 2 couples to rent to have their own space. Plenty of parking for two trailers and trucks. The outdoor area behind the house was very spacious! Would definitely rent this house again!

My husband and I were married at the Presbyterian church in town and wanted a place to stay that was more convenient than our home 15 minutes away. This house was perfect for that! Phillip was kind enough to allow our family and wedding party to come over and get ready with us, too. The home was beautiful! We had a wonderful time staying here.

Wayne and Rita were so sweet and communicative throughout my reservation process and check-in. Perfect private space with the safety of being close to their home as well. This is such a cozy place to stay, and very close to Bluefield University!

Carriage House was as represented. We enjoyed our stay and the area. Everything we needed was provided. Nice location and neighborhood. The Carriage house was clean with easy access. Very nice and comfortable.

We had an absolute amazing time! It was exactly what we needed and more! The location was great and amenities great for a long weekend! Worth every penny!! The only note for future visitors is you are able to hear your neighbors through the walls but as long as you are respectful and understanding, it’s no problem at all! We can’t wait to come back for many more trips!! Thank you Sam and Tim for the wonderful place!
